Vargas' jab will find its way through at some point, which means lights out for Norris

In all seriousness, I think Vargas would be handcuffed by Norris's overwhelming speed... Its possible for Vargas to catch him with a good shot and get him out of there, but Vargas had a lousy chin too and I think Terry finds it before Vargas can find his

Just think, it owuld be the first legitimate 154 pounder that Norris ever beat:bears:

Vargas could never deal with handspeed, or left hooks. Norris had tremendous handspeed, and a powerful hook. Norris TKO 10.

No its not. What top fighter did Vargas ever stop? Honestly... I think sometimes you underrate Norris' chin. When he was on the top of his game, his chin was okay. Good enough to take Vargas' shots, but Nando would be finding him hard to find if Terry was on his game.

Vargas has NO chance against the Norris that beat Leonard, and Brown in the rematch. NONE!

    Come on X

Simon Brown was DONE and OLD and a WELTERWEIGHT when he hit Norris with ONE JAB and turned him into a drunk... I dont see any reason why Vargas couldnt hurt him with a clean shot

Then in the rematch we saw what Norris on TOP form could do. Cause Simon nailed Terry with some good shots in the rematch, and Norris didnt blink.

I could see Vargas stunning, or hurting Norris, but not putting him away. But other than those moments, I see Terry dominating. Vargas was WAAAY too slow for Terry from the outside.

The point is that Brown was in no position to hurt someone who is supposed to be world class... he was a completely shopworn fighter and the smaller man... And he barely touched Norris in the rematch... Norris still had to box carefully to beat him and keep his chin from getting checked... Norris had a shit chin, theres no escaping it

Like I said, I think he gets Vargas out of there... but it is not out of the realm of possibility for Vargas, a solidly big 154 pounder (something Norris basically didnt face) to hurt him and stop him

9 times out of 10, I dont think he gets the chance, so im with you there

Vargas by late TKO/KO....Vargas losses the early rounds badly..but does enough damage to the head and body to slow Norris down....his chin will take Norris shots well...and he will come back to take Norris heart in the championship rounds...

Wouldnt matter. Vargas' chin was never great. Norris brought speed to the table that Vargas never dealt with. If Nando couldnt cope with handspeed of Tito, and Oscar, hows he gon deal with Terry's? Speed kills, and the speed of Norris would kill Vargas all night.
