Welcome to the monopoly that is UFC.......Well thats what casual fans think anyway !! They can do these type of cards as much as they like because there's no real threats out there....BUT!!! for me there's option.I can just turn on HDNET to get my MMA fill
Condit\Kampmann is a good fight. They're not two big 'names', but they are two good fighters. And Tyson Griffin is always in a good fight. He just doesn't have the power or submission skills to put anyone away, but he's an exciting fighter. The other two fights are just what you'd expect them to be, fights featuring newer TUF fighters. I don't see why anyone would complain about this card, I mean, what are you expecting? It's not a PPV. It's a Fight Night whose purpose is to promote the season of TUF, to promote the upcoming PPV, and to give a few recent TUF fighters who are still fresh on TUF fan's minds some exposure. I know I'll be watching. TFK
I've discovered that the cards that look awful on paper end up becoming the most entertaining cards. Remember Pride 'Homecoming', their second venture into the States? People called it the sh*ttest card in history and it ended up being probably the greatest Pride ppv ever. :: 95% of the fights were brutal KOs or submissions.
For free on a Wednesday night, it's a great card. I can't really justify that opinion because it really is just an opinion. I think maybe watching seasons of TUF make a card like this a bigger deal to me. I want to see where guys like Bader, Browning and Creduer are as well as guys from previous TUF seasons. Add to that the introduction of a few WEC mainstays like like Condit and Larson, and it's an exceptional free event.
Well I really like TUF too, and I am interested to see the fighters. But seriously, just because it's free doesn't make it "exceptional" at all.
Its free. What do you want? You won't get free mma anywhere better than that. I love HDnet, but it isn't free by anymeans. Lets be real. I'm with TFK, definitely watching.
Talk about being a groupie. While I'll watch this card for sure, and it got a couple of decent fight, calling it exceptional is one of the most ridiculous thing I ever heard.
It still not free.IF it was then I can cancel my service and still get spike tv and that is not the case.
It's as close to free as it gets. I know you have basic cable, so turn that shit on wednesday and enjoy some ALMOST free fights. Quit bitching about the UFC already. You should support it, it's the best MMA org there is, no matter how much you would like to disagree with that.
Exactly. I would now like to withdraw my statement that this was an "exceptional" card for free TV. I would now like to use the term "ordinary". Thank you.
That card was junk!!! I didn't miss anything special from what I heard I only support good cards and that was not good
Um, it's tonight. And as a bonus, it's followed by the first episode of the new TUF Season. Call me a UFC nuthugger, but I'm looking forward to Fight Night and TUF.
Gotta love these brainfarts. Dos Anjos basically tore Griffin´s leg, who struggles to walk, and instead of kicking the shit out of the left leg he does nothing with it. :notallthere::notallthere:
