Just read an interview where Pacman said Floyd's people said he wants to fight him. Manny says that would be his number one fight but if it failed to materialize they're looking at JMM. Roach said their isn't anyone else for him to fight because the fans won't accept him fighting some scrub. He even said Mosley was a possibility but they think the weight difference could be a problem.

Well there's a big reason to be rooting for Pacquaio over Hatton, unless some of you out there are hoping to see Mayweather-Hatton II.

Manny had best be concerned about Hatton, not what or who is next.

I'm not really rooting for either guy. I like both and just hope for a great fight. I do agree that a Pacquiao win is better for fans, as there are more compelling matchups with Manny than Hatton.

I'm pretty sure Roach will make sure he's 100% concentrated on Hatton. It's just natural that interviewers are going to ask about future opponents.

Even if he was fighting Vitali and Floyd at the same time people would ask him if Fedor was next.

Pac-Mayweather would be a very historically significant fight. Especially at 140lb or there abouts. Would love to see it.

Pac vs. Mayweather is a SIGNIFICANT, MEGA-Bout Wherever it Takes Place (140 OR 147)...U Can't PRAISE Manny for Whipping DeLa @ 147, then Turn Around & COMPLAIN about Floyd Potentially Facing Manny @ the Same Weight...

Fuk, I have money bet on Hatton, but I would love to see Pac vs Mayweather at 140. My wife is filipina and I will be rooting for Pac to win, but my money is on Hatton I got +200 on it.

agREED and I'm sure Roach and there team are gonna try to make it for 140 or sumwhere inbetween but Floyd should be able to make it anyway if he wants to give in to that demand..

Bob Arum has stated that he prefers to pit Pacquiao against Cotto than with Floyd. Since both are under contract with him it would be easier to make that fight than the negotiations nightmare with Floyd.

That may depend on the timing of the fight...or perhaps that'll be the carrot for Cotto to stay with TR.

No way, regardless of the oscar circus which was impressive because of the manner of the victory, not because oscar was really a viable 147/154 contender at this stage, Pacman does not belong at 147 - and if mayweather were to fight him there, it would compromise / qualify the fight IMO - even moreso than was the case with Hatton. Pacman, if he beats hatton impressively, will hold a strong bargaining position in any PBF negotiations, I hope that 140 is a deal-breaker.

WTF? Weight difference? Someone please correct me if I am wrong here, but Floyd last fought at 147 no? Mosley fights at 147 no?

I'm sure he'll fight at 147, but it will be someone from 135. Pac should never fight at 147 again, EVER. He doesn't belong there, he's a lightweight at best. Marquez IS a lightweight. Pac is one fight removed from being a LW.

    This is some fucking bullshit.
