I'm glad someone else notices. For some reason people on this board seem to think Valero has fast hands :notallthere:

Valero is fucking slow, and his punches are slow and telegraphed.

This is one of the only "proper" fights out there that I would probably pick Khan to win. It would be a precarious pick though, because as shit as Valero is, he can obviously punch a bit.

 

Yeah. Let's hope his slow hands are due to his physicality and heavy hands and not plaster or extra wounds of tape.

 

gotta say ive never seen valero, his record suggests he hasnt faced much although he knocked all the scrubs out, is he a little overated?? whos seen him

What I'm saying is that I am going there to cover the event, and Valero is not going to fight me, he is going to be fighting Pitalua.

I really doubt anyone is going to come up to me and want to fight...in fact I know they won't.

Valero is not fast at all. If he fought Pacman he'd look like he was fighting in slow motion.

His punches are slow and telegraphed, and doesn't have very good timing either.

 

If his punches are slow and telegraphed why his opponents would move out of the way instead of being hit and KO'd.

 

Valero's Got BETTER Hanspeed than Guys like Pavlik, Margarito or Angulo, but there's NATHAN Exceptional about his HandSpeed, Either...It's AVERAGE @ Best, N REED's Opinion...

Thats true. He still has little problems hitting great fighters in sparring and all of them have nothing but good things to say about him.

 

sparring is different, if you are basing his progression on what sparring partners are saying then Khan is better as he's getting praise from the p4p #1 right now.

 

Most fighters would give credit/speak well of their sparring partners....unless that fighters is complete asshole...
