Why wasn't PBF interested in an immediate rematch? Does anyone ever wonder about that? That was the plan all along and PBF's pulling out was the reason ODH was forced to come up with the crazy idea of facing Pacquiao.

Immediately following their first fight, I definitely would've picked ODH to win a rematch. There were things he did in the first fight that PBF had no answer to. It would've simply been a matter of ODH recognizing that, and not be so eager to knock PBF out.

At this point, there's no telling. PBF and Pacquiaio are very different fighters.

Assuming the fight could take place at 150 it'd be a difficult fight to handicap in my opinion.

All I saw DLH do in the Mayweather fight was throw bullshit pitty pat flurries to make it look like he was "pressuring" Mayweather

The guy who landed the cleanest shots the whole night was Mayweather

He didn't think he could win with his dad being in DLH's corner.

In that way, I sort of feel for Floyd

can you imagine THAT IDIOT being your dad?

Not saying ti excuses Floyd, because he is a certifiable jackass, but its hard to turn out a real cool level headed dude with a dad like that

DLH fighting Pacquiao was a crazy idea? NOT at the time..at the time it was the most sensible idea. It was either that or walking into a fight that DLH knew before hand that he was going to get destroyed..Cotto/Margarito or fighting another average nobody like Forbes...
What happen the night of December 6 2008..nobody expected it..esp. not DLH..

Why Mayweather never wanted to rematch DLH..i don't know...very strange. Maybe he just wasn't up to for the hard training...and the stress related to fighting someone like De La Hoya again...also the 1st fight wasn't as easy as he probably expected it 2 be...
