Well, it's not really out of left field when the title is 'An Ungainly Valero...'

its just unprofessional. My writing has been bad in the sense that it wreaks of bias. You can't write like that, it has to be even keel. Should we ever get the homepage going again, we will need to strive for objectivity

Well, whatever you do, thank the public relations people...stuff like that's usually included in mainstream sports coverage.

But on a serious note, I thought Karl artilce was pretty good, sure he's a little biased against Valero but he makes it clear and out for everyone to see.

Perhaps hearing the Stinger's screaming at Valero from media row, that he's not a very good fighter and has no defense and that he himself could defeat the new WBC champ, would have swayed your opinion...

But the article shows clear lack of understanding the sport when Karl criticizes a fighter for winning the wrong way. Karl draws too big conclusions from noticing what any boxing novice could see (That Valero keeps his hands lower and chin higher than traditional advice suggests)

Amateur fights are the real deal. I know one former amateur great who could KO both Valero and Pacquiao even though he got whupped every fourth time he entered the ring as an amateur

No Karl, you praised his power to have an excuse to put his skills down. I'm not saying I don't agree, he fights horrible and commits many mistakes. But this is a fight RECAP, it's not an opinion column.

I was saying out loud to Jose Diaz and his cousin that Juan will tear the guy up and I said "Valero sucks! He holds his chin straight up in the air, you can hit the guy by throwing a punch backwards, he holds his hands at his waist and brings his hands back to his waist after punching, he moves in and out straight back, no head movement and he was a ham and egger.

I did that right in front of an internet writer who has been praising the guy as the next coming of Sugar Ray Robinson for quite sometime now...wonder if that is what the "Jack Blackburn" reference was about?:dunno:

Pitalua missed 80% of his punches Saturday night. Hes no Arturo Gatti when it comes to defence.

Pitalua weighed in on the scales at 135 and on fight night 146

So you're saying Valero rehydrated even more, around 31 pounds?

All I am saying is that IN PERSON AT RINGSIDE he looked a whole lot bigger than Pitalua.

Pitalua lost the fight before he came into the ring as he was so intimidated, it looked like a schoolyard bully bouncing around another chap in the recess yard for his milk money.

So you were yelling during the fight to Jose Diaz?? He was sitting along the fence at ringside, over 40 feet away from you.

    karl,

you have never had a professional fight.

    you are an armchair quarterback.

all 25 of valeros opponent would kick your ass (in the ring)

you stated a 5'2 japanese man held his own in a street fight with you.

where do you get this idea you are the baddest man on the planet?

i am/was undefeated as an amateur (3-0 hahaha) i dont even talk shit about the worst pro fighters because it takes big balls to step into a pro bout...something you have never done.

Should I post about Karl and his brother in law, hitting on & taking advantage of a 16 year old chicka at ringside?

Right after the fight is what I am referring to "Mike", Jose walked up to the fence in the front row and shook my hand, and that is when I said it, why don't you fucking ask him?

This "StingeKarl" fellow seems to have his name brought up in paedophile discussions quite alot. Might be something to that.

That BS is a violation here, you little asshole.

I'll settle with "Mike" when I see him in person next.
