So would I. Estrada is a small fighter with quick hands. Bad styles match-up for Povetkin, who has a poor defense. Dimitrenko on the other hand is a big stiff, who has never met a right hand he didn´t like, and he´ll get hit with a lot them and this time it´s not a washed-up never was like Timo Hoffmann and Luan Krasniqi or some journeyman like Chris Koval, Billy Zumbrun or Danny Batchelder, who will deliver. Povetkin will stop Dimitrenko and make it look easy. There is no point taking this fight for Sauerland, unless they are 100% sure they can get some easy workout with a Wladimir clone. Vaughn Bean beat Dimitenko up.

It seems like Povetkin's camp may be taking a more intelligent approach to a Klitschko fight than the one they had last year, when they seemed to be want to rush into it.

...interesting that it should be brought up in this thread.....Solis beat Haye in the final of the world amateurs back in Chicago back in 2001

Solis could be a player, but he really needs to start taking the game seriously and whip himself into good shape (6'1 Solis was half a pound short of 260 for his last fight).

Even though Oquendo's status as a gatekeeper in this division (that's all he ever was) has dwindled.....he could still be the one to expose Solis' lack of the dedication that is requried for him to be a force even in a division so bereft of talent

Totally agree. I´d pick Oquendo without hesitation, if his chin wasn´t so bad. At some point Solis will probably catch him and turn his lights out, but I´d be surprised if Solis took a well earned easy points victory.

I wouldn't have much hesitation in picking Solis to beat Oquendo.

Don King promoted a stadium fight at Chase field between Lyakhovich and Briggs in 2006.

That is true. I was hyped for it after Sergeis fight with Brewster. That was the best heavyweight fight of my lifetime.
