Jardine has been the main event one time. Other than that he's an undercard, mid card kind of guy. Jardine made 55K for losing to Rampage.

That is a respectable opinion for sure. If ya don't like it, you don't like it.

IT's about Being FAIR Though, Dude...

N MOST Sports, EVERYTHING is Negotiable &/or REnegotiable...When Jardine Signed his Deal, he was an UNKNOWN MMA Commodity, but Since Then, he's Fought a "Who's Who" of Lightheavyweight Talent, BEATEN Some of them & HEADLINED PPV's, yet STILL Finds himself Pinching PENNIES (Comparitively Speaking) After Each Fight???:dunno:...

U & REED BOTH Know that the UFC COULD AFFORD to Pay Jardine More, they just DON'T...No, it's Not YOUR Business OR REED's, but Lets NOT Pretend it's GOOD Business Either...

REED's Always Been Partial to the FIGHTERS...They're NOT just Pieces of Meat Put Here to Entertain Us N their Primes & Sent Out to Pasture when the Fighting Days R OVer...These Guys DESERVE To B Paid Handsomely...

You know one of the most off-putting things to me about MMA is the announcers.

It's just hard for me to watch it on tv and listen to them.

I've been to UFC, Affliction, and Strikeforce shows, and even some smaller scale than that, and they're usually enjoyable cards...but I don't know, I can barely stomach boxing announcers, and I've been watching and following the sport for years.

'Bout Time:bears:...& he Probably Made LESS than 55K COMBINED for Fighting Forrest Griffin, Wanderlai Silva, Chuck Liddell & Brandon Vera...

    Wasn't the Fight w/Chuck &/or Wanderlai a Co-Main Event???...

“Mayweather wants 60 percent of the revenue and I feel right now that Manny deserves the bigger percentage because he is the star," Arum said.

Mayweather AND Arum R BOTH Offbase Here...NO, Floyd Certainly DOESN'T Deserve 60% (Even DeLa DIDN'T Get 60%), but Manny Certainly SHOULDN'T Draw a BIGGER % than Floyd Either...Manny's "A Star", but NOT "THE Star" Here...

55-45 for Floyd OR 50-50 is Fair...

I think part of what is killing boxing and producing guys with attitudes like Mayweather is the fact that a lot of boxers are over paid. It's ALL about the money in boxing. They don't give a shit about me or you or any fan, they are out to line their wallets and that is the bottom line. MMA is not like that, guys fight because they like to fight and the successful guys in MMA are making more than a decent living.

Get me some FACTS and we can have this discussion. What does the "Jardine" of boxing make? Say an Ishe Smith, or a someone of that caliber. Guys like Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture, Fedor, Silva, BJ Penn, these guys have made a fortune fighting MMA. The top guys DO get paid. It's the guys below that top level that don't, VERY MUCH like boxing.

You and me both, and honestly, I would think any serious fight fan would feel the same way.

That's what confuses me the most about TFK actually.

He seems to respect the "suits" more than the fighters, do you know what I mean? He goes out of his way to justify the ludicrous MMA payscale, market value and what not, ignoring the very simple point of "the fighters DESERVE more".

Fuck market value, out of respect for the fighters the UFC should pay them more, they deserve it. It's a fucking hard job, that takes a shit load of guts, dedication, hard work, talent, skill etc, and people like Jardine are getting 15k for most of their purses.

Pac doesn't need Floyd. It's the other way around right now REED. Manny can fight a number of guys and make a ton of money. Floyd could too, but is he willing to take that risk and fight someone who could pose problems? Mosley? Williams? Cotto? He's not going near those guys.

Floyd has options, he's just trying to make the easy money, like always. Calling out lightweights? lol Pac and Marquez need to tell Floyd to fuck right off!

Ishe Smith has NEVER Beaten a Former or Future World Champion...Ishe Smith has NEVER Beaten a Current or Former ELITE Fighter N his Weight Class...Shit, Ishe Smith has NEVER Even SHARED a Ring w/a Current or Former ELITER Fighter...

Ishe Smith is a LOWER END Guy & NOT Comparable...REED Would Equate Keith Jardine w/a Middle of the Pack, Zab Judah, Luis Collazo, Clottey Type...REED KNOWS Zab's Earnings SHIT on Jardine's & REED would Bet that Collazo Got CONSIDERABLY MORE for Facing Hatton, Mosley & Berto than Jardine Got for Rampage, Chuck, Forrest, Wanderlai AND Vera Combined...

REED Bets Clottey Got MORE for Margarito, Corrales & Zab than Jardine Got for those Fights as Well....

Ishe fought Radall Bailey amd Sergio Mora, former titlists. Bailey who just won an eliminator against Gato! Zab is a former undisputed Champion and two division champ. Collazo is also a former titlist.

Yeah, it's Definitely STRANGE...Z Seems to B of the Same Mindset which is HIS Prerogative, but No Less STRANGE...The Bottom Line is, UFC is Successful Because of it's PRODUCT, which just So Happens to B the Fighters...

NOBODY Go's to a UFC Event to Look @ the Back of Dana White's Pale Crome Dome, yet he's Probably Bringing Home MORE than ALL of his Fighters Combined....

U're DANCING Because U CAN'T Justify the UFC's SHITTY Pay Scale...R U HONESTLY Telling REED that Randall Bailey & Sergio Mora R the Boxing EQUIVALENT to Chuck Liddell, Rampage Jackson, Wanderlai Silva and Forrest Griffin???....

Comparatively Speaking, Jardine's Fought @ a HIGHER LEVEL than Ishe Smith has....MUCH Higher...

Sure, as a fan I'd like them to get paid fairly. It is what it is though and I just enjoy what is being put out there.

    JMM called out Floyd :notallthere:

You can easily say the same thing about Mosley. He won't fight Cotto in NY and he don't want to fight Williams. He wants to fight Manny. Cotto don't want to fight Williams either. Also Arum is willing to make a fight at 150lbs with Chavez Jr but not 147lbs to fight Floyd.
