I will say that shoes are VERY important when running.. the right type that is

for years I had shin splint problems, that basically made me stop running.

yesterday I went to a running store and they watched me walk, run, and looked at my foot and gave me a couple shoes to try

it is amazing to me what a difference it is!! yesterday afternoon I did my first run in my new shoes and just a profound difference in how my legs feel!

if you are running, go to a running store and have them fit you.

I just recently did the same thing. Went to a running store and they watched me walk and move around. The shoes feel amazing. I just got in from an hour long run and I feel great. I've been working out for the past few months, and my major problem has been running. I was running in skateboard shoes.

Are you still running? I've had my gait analyzed by profesionals, been through numerous bouts PT, consulted podiatrists, orthopedists and sports medicine specialists, and I still have pantar fasciitis if I run too often.

I'm joking, Lok, shin splints hurt. When you run, do you run on your toes?

Anyone ever try those spring loaded shoes? I've been seriously thinking about getting some.

    This.

I changed to Asics 5 years ago and they've made a huge difference in recovery and general soreness.

Superior to anything else on the market IMO.
