I like that pair, but they are underestimating Hatton.

"The fact is Floyd couldn’t program a VCR"

I'm still undecided on this one - I'm not convince Pac can fight at the weight the dela fight is nothing to go by IMO.

Hattons worst nightmare is fighting a southpaw who can bang, Pac can punch and is quick to the punch. I think Pacquiao will finish Hatton in about 4.

There is no way Pac-Man is getting rid of this guy that easily

I think they are underestimating Hatton here... he is a strong 140 pounder and he is certainly not afraid of the rough stuff (remember how badly rattled Pac-man was against Agapito Sanchez?)

This is not going to be some easy fight for him

Like it matters. Hatton won't be able to stop Manny from hitting him anyway.

I wouldn't say badly rattled, but he was certainly bothered by Sanchez.

The thing is, since then Pacman is a bigger and far superior fighter, whereas Hatton has regressed in the same time period.

Still, I don't think Pacman beats him that easy. Hatton is strong and rough, he's not going to get dominated, and he's not getting KO'd early.

I think Pacman KO's him in about 8 or 9 rounds.

roach never says shit like that before fights. he's simply trying to mess with hattons head and get him to come out less aggressively. it won't work

Going by the Lazcano/Malignaggi fight...i would have 2 agree...Hatton looked like shit...in both fights..even if he outbox Malignaggi....

but I think people might be making tooo much out of Pacquiao pounding De La Hoya...it still stand that Pac hasn't fought anyone as strong as Hatton..and it will show...

Hopefully Hatton doesn't get too cute an tries to box w/ Pacquiao...the old mauling Hatton shows up Pacquiao will get brutalize....

Cdogg.. you know are my boybut you are delusional here man.. the fact that Hatton is a "strong aggressive" guy and a bigger guy.. will spell his doom. he's going in thinking he can just steam roll Pac, but Pac can hit and is fastHatton is gonna go face forward into the "little guy" and get STRETCHED

I think you are maybe overrating his power this high up, LOK... this isnt 130.. and Oscar was a passive and stationary target, he made little effort to attack

Pacquiao's punching power and strength are not proven at this weight, in my opinion... the only thing clear to me is that he still has his speed and I tyhink that will be the difference in the fight... but this isnt going to be some early rounds KO... Ricky Hatton is tougher than that in my opinion

you know.. I think people are brushing off the DLH fight as DLH was washed up or weight drained.. but going into it I even thought Pac had ZERO shot

    that was an impressive performance

Hatton will come at Pac and Pac is a buzz saw man..

not so much one punch crunching power but just NON STOP
he is gonna bust up Ricky and stop him

It WAS an Impressive Performance, Brother LOK..."However", when U Learn that DeLa Required an I.V. in an Attempt to REPLENISH Himself, it ADDS a Bit of Perspective to just HOW DEAD he was in the Ring that Night...Even the Version of DeLa that Floyd Beat was Considerably BETTER...

I think Hatton is going to bleed profusely from both eyelids within the first 2 rounds.

I usually am able to make objective predictions for reasonable reasons whether I am right or wrong. However, in this case, I am going with Pacman and by stoppage because if Hatton wins, Boxing will end. I don't want to envision any situation in which Hatton wins.

Pacman is the best thing in boxing in awhile. He is exciting and he is always in fights people want to see. I don't give four fucks how "cool" Ricky the Shitman Holdman is. He is boring as fuck. A victory for him is death for boxing. I am hoping his paper skin gets cracked and it will. I cannot think of a single fight I would rather see the name Hatton over the name Pacquiao.
