    Here is what i know:

    Dsimon, myself and Steve-Dave (Andrew Brown), were ready to buy the site. Dsmion went over some number he got with from cupey about the site. We came up with a good figure that were going to pay. Everything seemed fine, all we needed was cupey to send over the ACTUAL figures of the site. Dsimon told me once we get those, he can determine the health of the site and if its worth laying our dollar down.

    Here is my last convo with Dsmion:

    Godfather:
    So pending the info from Cupey and discussion about some contacts you have. This looks like a deal we can make.

    Dsimon:
    I will get all the info via a years worth of assets and liabilities.

    then I will hash things out with Cupey... some of the same things we talked over about liability,e tc. and then I will get back to you and Drew and we will tender our offer.

    We have some killer weather today... I have to get this stupid plumbing problem fixed quick that came up so I can get out of here for a while!

    My guess is cupey never sent him the info before went maybe on a vacation.

    Reed i understand your anger. Just bare with us a little longer. If it doesnt work out, fine, but if i dont buy the site, supposedly there are few others interested that we can trust, Andrew is talking to them about it.
    Reed if you feel the need to distance the fightbeat name from what you do right now, thats fine. But i hope that if i buy this site, you decide to contribute again. I can only say that if Myself, Andrew and Dsimon get our hands on this place, things will change around here very fast. But right now its not my site.

    FightBeat has developed quite a reputation now over the years. And they're fairly highly ranked on Google for boxing sites. We should take ownership and take this mofo to the next level!!!! New fresh articles on the front page is the best way.

    The reason it didn't get hits is because it's poorly marketed. Nothing gets updated and the news section is pretty crummy. There's no reason why FightBeat cannot be the best boxing site on the web. Once we throw Cupey to the dogs, this place will grow!

    First let it be clear that I sent the figures necessary for Dsimon to do his job. I sent them twice and I also sent them to Steve_Dave who requested them via Facebook. So I don't want to hear that it was my fault. Dsimon will confirm that he does sometimes have issues with his e-mail.

    Secondly, anybody else interested in making an attempt to purchase the site can feel free to contact me at fightbeat@gmail.com

    Until I get some clarity on the situation it seems I'll have to resume the duties of updates. However, I will start with just news so that there are no hard feeling of people submitting their work and not getting published. Maybe by then we'll start to get some answers or direction as to the sale of the site. Until then.

    Genius, you can't just create a site just like that. It would take a long time to bring it to the level of FightBeat. Fightbeat has a reputation and is quite highly ranked. We can make it bigger and the only way to do it is to add fresh content because that's what surfers are always looking for. And FightBeat doesn't get updated at all. Look at how many great honest writers we have on FightBeat whose talents are going to waste like Stinger and Reed.
