At the top level, is Taylor the worse finisher ever? I mean if this hick had any finishing abilities he woulda had stoppage victories over both Pavlik, and Froch.

Roy Jones had Calzaghe out and didn't finish him. He had Montel out in their first fight and chose to get DQ'd instead.

Some Guys CAN'T Punch a Lick & Therefore R BAD Finishers...But like REED Said on the Other Thread, Taylor CLEARLY HAS the Ability to CONSISTENTLY HURT Guys, yet he's an ATROCIOUS Finisher...

He also carried your fat, never beat a top fighter hero.

A circa mid 90's Roy woulda never let Froch off the hook past the 3rd round.

Froch is barely better than Clinton Woods.... I wouldnt count on Roy being scared of him.

A young Roy makes quick work of Froch... and even you know this.

Taylor is not the worst finisher, he just decides not to finish his opponent in fear of the possibility of getting hurt himself! He just plain stopped throwing punches.

Doesnt matter. When a top fighter gets a guy ready to go... MOST times he should be able to finish. Some guys are just naturally able to finish guys better than others. For example... Mosley has always been a terrific finisher. And then all time... you got guys like Leonard, Tyson, Pryor, and Arguello... who were the best at finishing hurt guys.

Taylor is a horrible, horrible finisher... and I dont think its fear. I just think he doesnt know to finish a guy off.

Anyone with a little killer instincts will jump at the opponent immediately throwing multiple punches. Taylor just did NOTHING. Did not even tried to throw a damn jab!:bangh:

I disagree. There's a difference between knocking a guy down and knocking a guy down and hurting him to the point where he's ready to be finished. From my eyes it looked like neither Pavlik nor Froch were hurt, but rather just knocked down and a bit stunned.

The question we should be asking is why is Taylor fighting in this weight class. I hate the "I lost at this weight class so let me move up" mentality. Taylor's a guy who bullied jrmiddles most of his career and never really dominated there. Now he's going to go up to a divison and face big monsters like Froch and Kessler and expect to win? It's ridiculous.

Pavlik was BADLY Hurt by Taylor...Remember his DRUNKEN STAGGER Across the Ring AFTER the Knockdown????...But agREED on Froch...His Eye's were CLEAR the Entire Time...

STILL, Taylor Made NO Effort to even TEST How Hurt he was....

Why should he? Don't assume because he's in the ring that he didn't notice it either. He's already fighting a bigger guy, no need to put himself in harms way if he knew it was just a flash kd. Besides, we already know what flailing away with a bunch of punches would do to that shit stamina of his.
