for an old black man, you're very racist. :nono: your country happens to be the developed country with the largest population. whoop-de-do, well done.

boxing pre-dates britain, but the marquess of queensbury rules are of course british. make of that what you will. the british used to have the most bloodthirsty, invasive empire in the world, which means a lot of global institutions existing today were originally influenced by britain. britain invented marquess of queensbury-boxing, america invented mass obesity: neither is a point of particular pride.

btw muzse im still waiting for you to provide a link to the british news story which used racist language/imagery about obama in the run-up to the election, portraying him as an ape...

Boxing as we know it, as it exists right now in it's present form, comes from England.

Of course, one on one fighting in whatever form goes back to the dawn of time, the caveman era, but modern boxing is from England.

Fisticuffs does. If you're talking about two guys throwing hands in front of a crowd then that's been around since forever.

The sport that we call Boxing originated in England. I'm not sure why you think that shouldn't be a point of pride or much less compare it to mass obesity.:dunno:

ha...I've heard the Cat Stevens one before actually. Cat Stevens wishes....

I presume you probably know, but actually it's Al Pacino in the avatar and the Manic street preachers circa '94 in the signature.

yes it's completely true. british boxing is a travesty. unschooled jokes like froch, witter, and hamed, inveterate cowards like slappy and the pre-zoo hatton, fantasist media coverage, ... and germany's even worse. at least we make our own bums; germany has to steal from its impoverished eastern neighbours.

You just can´t get them. They´d rather eat out of a Yerevan gully than in a british gourmet restaurant. :slap:

Not if Universum can circumvent it. I also heard Cleverly is supposed to fight a WBO eliminator against Griffin. At some point Erdei will get his and then he´ll retire and we´ll never see his sorry ass again.
