Clearly Taylor has more skills, but Roldan gave a few big name talents some decent scraps.

Roldan was P4P better than Froch. He gave Hagler hell, and seriously hurt Hearns. Taylor has neither Hagler's toughness n skill, nor Hearns' power. I think Roldan woulda stopped him late.

I think you severly underrate Taylor in these MMs. Also, p4p is meaningless since this fight is for Taylor's best weight (and I am not sure Roldan is better than Froch)

    Taylor by pretty clear decision

I could totally see Roldan hurting and finishing Taylor... but I could also see him gassing himself from trying to do that early and therby being unable to take advantage of Taylor's traditional late rounds fade... I think this is an amazingly sloppy fight where Taylor gets up off the deck and wins an ugly unanimous decision in a fight loaded with exhausted late rounds clinches from both fighters... all sorts of wild swings and misses from Roldan and right hands falling far from the mark by Taylor and a lot of hugging and heeling and pushing

    horrible fight

the difference in the fight will be Taylor's jabbing, not because its all that great but because he would be committed to it
