I wonder if we can we trade him and get Sly back? They are both boobs, but at least Sly's desperate attempts at "proving" how smart he is are somewhat amusing.

Sorry to be the boring one who distracts from all this fun with talk of the actual fight .....but after watching some tapes I've had a complete change of heart.

I'm now picking Hatton by clear decision. He'll get hit with everything but the kitchen sink in the process, but his strength in close and his consistent high tempo in coming forward will control enough of the pace and the geography of the fight to force Pac onto the back foot for the majority of the fight & eek out a close decision in a WAR. Late stoppage is a possibility but Hatton's tendency to fade makes it unlikely. 116-113 Hatton

Pacquiao's been waiting for someone to trade with him round after round his entire career. Hopefully, save for Hatton's holding, that's what he'll get in which case Hatton doesn't stand a chance.

which is what his right hook is for. also, if i'm not mistaken, JMM was moving forward when he was knocked down in their second fight by a short left hand that Manny threw across his body. this punch will be key against Hatton who likes to smother (and hold) his opponents.

If you really hate Hatton, you would predict Hatton Kayo 1. Please do this. Make your "ability" work for you Mr. Lymphoma.

Musz made a great point. I don't beleive Pac deals with adversity very well. The Morales cut and the stubbed toe and the Sanchez fight show that if he can be taken out of his game he can be flustered and taken advantage of.

Who better to take someone out of his game plan then the orginal british holligan?

Hatton is going to beat this little chicken fried rice mutherfucker.

Doesn't deal with adversity? He has wins over MABX2, Moralesx2, and beat JMM and drew with him, and then fought and beat ODH.

How much more adversity could there be? Sanchez is just a dirty fighter but Pacquiao would've won that fight had it not been stopped. Sanchez fought like that because he desperately didn't want to be hit by Pacquiao.

I think the Marquez fights alone show that he has a huge heart and that he thrives on diversity.

But the bottom line is, Pacquiao has encountered and prevailed over much more diversity than Hatton has. So I think of Pacquiao as a proven quantity whereas there's question marks when it comes to Hatton, especially in this stage of his career when he can only fight about 30 seconds a round without getting winded.

What. You don't think my point is valid? You think it was easy for him to go 24 rounds with JMM? A guy who just knocked out Juan Diaz - something nobody had come close to doing previously?

Of course Pacquiao is going to be flustered against Agapito - did you see how many low-blows he was hit with?

And as far as the first Morales fight, I don't think anyone in their right mind who watched their second and third fights would claim that the "Winning" gloves he was forced to wear weren't a huge factor in his inability to get Morales out of there.

I just hear the phrase, "doesn't deal with adversity well," and I think of guys like Freitas or Juan Diaz. Pacquiao is certaintly not in that category.

Read my previous post, Einstein. It was funny.

And I really don't know how well Manny has responded to diversity.

That's good to know. What I don't know is how that will help him in the ring.
