It's incredulously rare that I disagree with you on boxing matters my man. We are twinned minds on sweet science matters.

But aye, regardless Floyd will win this fight with some ease. Bigger, more athletic, more aclimatized to the weight and although it pains me to admit it, an all round better fighter even if they were the same size. But not more skilled. And it will at least be interesting to watch and historically interesting which Mayweather-Spinks certainly would not have been.

What kind of statement is this? Are you 13 years old? I demand you retract this immediately!

There we go, I didn't think anybody in here thought Marquez had a chance. I think Marquez is the best fighter by far Mayweather has ever faced, I don't care how big or small he is. Marquez is definitely in this fight.

In the fightnews pic May wasn't much bigger if at all:

    Ooohh get over yourself.

I hate very few people in this world. That man-child is one of them. A sub 85 IQ and a biblical arrogance is a peculiarly noxious combination that I personally can't stomach. :shit:

Indeed, it's more evident now that you post more ;)

And you're probably right. Even with all things equal (size, age, weight class etc) I'd still probably pick Floyd by decision. Marquez has the edge in offensive skill, but floyd is a bit better all round.

It's unbearable isn't it? I haven't postured since I was 10 years old. I realized what an embarrassing yawn it was then. Either stick the head in the cunt or go about your business.

Fraud will be cautiously skipping towards Marquez landing the odd straight-right pot-shot behind the 'elbow flick' guard that he uses on the rare occasion that he does come forwards. He's a 'catchweight' predator, taking advantage of smaller 'divisional names' and the sensationalist shit that it will bring upon a victory, approved through the delusional and mythical world of 'p4p lists',..instead of fighting bigger formidable fighters, in his own division.

If I was Marquez, I would straight up pull a Hopkins,.. ..and constantly back up around the perimetre of the ring, measuring a timed 'pot clinch' combination, where you out-stretch your shot with your head down, and then tie up at the end of the looping momentum,... so that it is impossible to counter, and there is no other thing you can score, except for that pot, wether it lands or misses. Spoil this cunt of a fight to a stand still,.. and have Fraud groupies shivering with heart break.

Marquez fought 2 close fights with Pac and most people had him beating Manny in the rematch. I guess Manny is a tune up for Floyd as well.

Back to reality. He damn sure ain't no tune up for Floyd especially an inactive one. 2 of the top 3 p4p fighters and the 2 most skilled fighters can't even get you clowns excited for a fight. Go watch another sport and quit bitching about greatness.

You are aware that Marquez has fought a few times at 135 and zero at 140, right?I think that might have something to do with the outrage.

You guys really read to much into weight. To fighters of Marquez's calibre weight is just a number. Along with Floyds layoff this is Floyds toughest fight in a long time.

I know what the weight was. Im just saying Manny and Marquez basically fought on even terms, possibly Marquez won more total rounds and he is a tune up for Floyd.

Marquez and Pac are pretty even i don't understand how Marquez is a tune up for Floyd but Pac isn't.

I do love the way you describe PBF & Hopkins "style"
    (It's funny because it's true)

IMO both fight would be a mismatches...the Pac vs. Mayweather fight would be more acceptable i guess because it will be the two best P4P fighters in the world going against each other....for the crown...

one of the many reason i'm picking Hatton is because people won't bitch too much if Hatton vs. Cotto..happens.....a Hatton victory will PUSH Mayweather closer to a Mosley/Cotto/TOP 147 pounder fight...I doubt even if he wins today..that people would be too interested in Mayweather vs. Hatton II....

I would suppose it's cause big mad mental Pac man has at least one physical advantage over Floyd (speed) and possibly two (power too). And obviously also because he beat the snot out of a guy Floyd barely beat.

Plus Pac has defined his career as the ultimate multi-weight guy, Marquez hasn't quite proven his ability to move through the weights in the same way. But I see your point.
