Not shocked at all about this honestly. Hatton is so face first that this result shouldn't be shocking.

That said, Mayweather will give Marquez the beating of his life and then destroy Pacquiao. Mark my words.

Now the July 18th fight will be promoted as the NATURAL opponent to be in line to meet the best fighter in the world, pound for pound king, Manny Pacquaio.

Here's a challenge Mayweather can't avoid, the dude may be in his prime but at least he's smaller than him.

Maybe..........in Cotto...Pacquiao will be fighting someone a bit similar to Marquez...good jab..decent footwork/chin/defense..who can control the other opponents speed...

WE SHALL SEE...HOPE ARUM can make it HAPPEN...

It's after a performance like that, that you'll see who the real men in boxing are. The guys who say they want Manny now will have balls. I want to hear Cotto say he wants Manny after that performance and not that he'll fight whoever his people put in front of him. I want to hear Floyd say he wants Manny, and not give us a bunch of bullshit about how Manny isn't a draw in the sport.

Mosley is probably calling Manny's people right now so we know where he stands.

Pac is the only guy our grandfathers could envy us. The guys a fucking freak of nature.

As you said, the balls in Floyd's court, lets see what he does with it.

Come on ILLU, I also like Cotto, but he is just not good enough.

Cotto is not as good as Marquez, he's not as intelligent and skilled.

He is bigger than Marquez of course, but Pacman's last 2 fights have proved that doesn't really mean much against this superhuman Pacman that has evolved.

Thats the single most impressive big fight performance in YEARS. Amazing.

All that said, Pacquiao still has some holes in his game. Serious ones. For example, he can't fly, shoot fireballs or read minds like Mentok.

Pacquaio would not BOX Mayweather, he would want to avoid the potshotting and get into exchanges.

In order for the fight to be on EQUAL terms regarding size, the fight should be made at 140. If not Mosley comes in range.

"Money" Mayweather sees $$$ signs everywhere. He avoids Mosley in the process.

Same old Ricky. Excellent fighter, but what the hell do you do with a guy that punches faster than you can think, never mind react?

BTW agree with the LOL@ MAYWEATHER. Fucking illiterate fucktard chump.

If Pacman beats Floyd, he is the greatest fighter in history. I am saying this right now.

I have to admit. I used to think it would be a slaughter for Floyd, but I think Pac has a shot.

    hi fellas

It's 5 in the morning I'm pretty drunk and I thought pacman would get a decision. I'm amazed at manny the guy is a legend and IMO the best fighter of our generation.

If the floyd fight does happen it's needs to take place at this weight. No heavier or money has no balls. That for me would be a defining moment in floyds career.

    Step up.

I figured Manny would knock him out, but after he busted up Hatton a bit and Ricky couldn't see the punches coming.

Turns out Hatton couldn't see them coming anyway.

Pacquiao made De La Hoya and Hatton look absolute bums in back to back fights. I'ts been a while since anyone has looked like they even belong in the same ring as Manny.

    Incredible.

Cotto will be considered damaged goods once Clottey fucks him up. People want even want to see him fight Pac after their fight.

That's old news, that was a couple of years ago.

I was right too, he looked like he lost his fire.

Maybe it was the opponents, or just a general lull in his passion for boxing? Who knows, but that's certainly not the case now.

in the corner between rds 1 and 2, floyd sr said to ricky: "you shoulda listened to me from day one." pretty damning evidence of his deficiencies as a trainer: ricky's looking to him to save him from the jaws of hell, and floyd just cares about making himself look good.
