does Manny rank above Floyd Mayweather Jnr?

in just his last 2 fights Manny has accomplished the same amount that Mayweather did in the past 8 years

The Manny fans winings after the fight = 0$

You might want to work on confidence. I was pretty much begging some of these guys to take a bet. :notallthere:

    Stop trolling.

I for one didn't see that you even posted a bet until you mentioned it, and then I had to search for where you did it.

Who cares anyway? You were complaining about losing $180 on the Kentucky Derby, not like you were offering $15,000 for the taking.

Hatton lost because he is not as good a fighter as Manny. Tonight's fight proved that.

    I agree.

Though if he lost his next fight, people would forget about all this and drop him out of lists, saying that "if this guy beat him, imagine what...". That is what happened to Roy Jones too, unfairly imo. Old-timers get a pass in this sense over modern guys

    Great job sir.

Have fun walking down the street asking disabled people to race you on the track to boost your shattered self esteem.

Nobody said Manny was this high before this fight. A win over Hatton doesn't make you top 10 all time.

It's a shame you didn't show up earlier in the week regarding this fight, my $200 was tied up and I made $150. For what it's worth you keep your word so next time.

lb 4 lb, something strange has come over you.

Go to boxrec, have a good look at Manny's record, then feel absolutely stupid for comparing him to Forrest or Mayorga

He is a 5 weight division champion for fuck's sake, and has beaten almost every world class fighter or champion he's faced by KO.

He started his career at flyweight and just netted consecutive stoppage wins over Oscar and Hatton at welter and jr welter.

Have a look at his record and results, and think about who else could possibly be called the best P4P fighter right now.

At the same time think about 10 fighters in boxing history who were better fighters and had more accomplishments (hint, there aren't).

Pacman isn't just P4P number 1, he is one of the best fighters of all time.

Even if he lost his next fight, in time, it would be put into perspective and he would still be considered a top 10 all time great.

For example, your favourite fighter Roberto Duran, once he hit 30 and moved up in weight, he was far less consistent and lost to people he shouldn't have, but his record is judged as a whole and he is still considered one of the best fighters ever.

I just want to add this. What were to happen if Manny Pac were to beat PBF, SHane, and Cotto. That dude would be the GOAT. I'll Holla 5000

I wasn't complaining. I lost $100 on the Kentucky Derby and another $80 on other horse races. The bet was measley. $300 to win $200? I posted that on several threads. NO ONE here and I mean NO ONE was that cofident in Pac to even consider taking that bet. It proves that it's easy to talk AFTER the fight but no one here has balls.

Yep. This is why fighter's career's can't really be judged until they hang up the gloves. While he was actually fighting...in the span of a few years, Duran went from being considered the best fighter in the world (after Leonard I), to the butt of countless jokes (Leonard II), to washed up (after the Laing and Benitez fights) and then back to being more beloved than ever (after the Cuevas, Moore and Hagler fights). And his career would have even more up and downs. But when his career is judged as whole...it is one of the best ever.

    Whatever man.

I think if this was so important to you, you would've started a thread.

I think the fact that you're in every thread talking about these "bets" you made after the fight(which I didn't even see until you mentioned), talks more about your state of mind than anyone elses.

It IS too soon. Pacquiao's ranking and status will be completely defined with his next fight: Mayweather. The winner has to be the fighter of this generation, one of the best ever. That's why the fight is so exciting, I hope we get it by the end of the year. Fucking great.
