I couldn't help but notice after you confidently and emphatically picking Hatton, and Hatton getting an utter thrashing and brutal KO, that you haven't once given Manny any credit for destroying your boy?

Seriously, are you a fan or just a groupie?

It goes without saying that Manny is a great fighter. I knew that going in. People were talking about how shot DLH was after that fight but this shines a new light on things.

Was this worth starting a thread over? :boohoo:

It was yeah, because not once did you give Manny credit or eat crow. Just a load of bullshit about bets

Also you didn't answer my question, I know you bet on the fight, but you obviously just like betting.

Deep down, were you really that confident of Hatton winning?

    MWS,

Caligula only picks the guy or team he likes more in every sport. His predictions require zero thought, which is why he gets zero credit when he's correct.

He wasn't confident or otherwise, because he didn't actually think about it.

I don't have to eat crow. No one here was even confident enough to risk $300. You weren't that confident. Alabama man wasn't that confident. NO ONE was. If someone beat me and took my money, then I'd eat crow but I called everyone out. Everybody dropped their asses. :kick: The most outspoken Pac fans didn't have the balls to step up. That's what I go by.

And what is my betting record around here? :mj:

Am I the one constantly getting people's adresses and sensing them money or the one giving out my address so people can send me money?

Perhaps YOU should develop a system that requires ZERO thought too. :bears:

Thread over. I think this is one of the biggest misunderstandings about me. I am not as negative as people say. I am the exact opposite of Caligula. I don't care ABOUT WHO I want to win. I make my predictions usually, lol, after some thought.

Caligula is a fanboy, but he makes this board fun and to be fair to him, Caligula puts money where his mouth is and he has honor enough to pay it back.

I won a NFL prediction contest and told Caligula via pm that it was cool, the contest was fun and he didn't have to send me the money(because I didn't bet anything)He still sent it.I can personally vouch for him not being a welcher.

All of this is irrelevant. You're like a 15-year-old when it comes to watching sports. It's annoying, and more importantly, incredibly gay.

I'm not in the group asking you to eat crow, because I don't think you were wrong. You didn't have an opinion.

This is all true. I love football Caligula, but boxing Caligula, although exactly the same, is annoying.

He is 100% down to put money where his mouth is, and always pays up, so he's cool by me. I just don't come on here giving him credit when he gets something right.

Yet there is a reason that people keep sending me money isn't there.

You'd LOVE to have my betting record around here. It's not going to happen for you, man. :kick:

I agree with that. Jaws met him and Double L:lol::lol:and said both are normal and cool. He scares me a little. He follows sports like I did in Junior High. He is the same with Football.

There's nothing wrong with betting on sports. I used to run a gambling ring when I was in boot camp. With the money I made from that, I paid people to make my bed every day, shine my shoes for inspection, all the things I didn't want to do. Because of gambling I never had to do any work.

Did anyone actually see Caligula offer bets on Pacquiao before the fight?

Maybe I was just unlucky and didn't see him posting bets buried in a 11 page thread. I didn't even know he made bets until he mentioned it in a dozen "Hatton got his ass kicked threads" afterwards.

I mean if it was so important, wouldn't you make a thread calling people out? I went to the betting forum (for the first time in 2 years), and I didn't even see a thread there.

Anyway, is him making bets supposed to make Hatton's performance better?

Are you saying you WOULD have taken this bet?

You said Castillo would beat Hatton and i called you out and you refused the bet?

This time you claim that you didn't see the bet. What would have been different this time?

I really don't see why people are shitting on Caligula. He's passionate about his champ. So what. I've followed Hatton's career for a while and I knew for a fact the guy is shit. I said it in previous threads. But that's Caligula's boy and at least he backs up his words. I would personally bet Tito to Beat Hopkins and I'd make him the favorite to beat Klitschko. That's standing by your boy even though maybe in your heart you have some doubts

I understand where you are coming from, but this guy came in at the last minute wanting bets. Where was this fella the week leading up to the fight? My $200 won me $150, though I wouldn't have minded a bet with Calig had he been here earlier.

Aside from your hatred of Hatton (which is unjustified), I agree entirely with this. Caligula has his favourites and is loyal to them. So what? Who doesn't have favourites to root for? It would be a sad day if even supposed hardcore fans didn't have people they wanted to root for (and root against those they hate).

When has anyone ever called me out and I didn't step up? Never.

I call people out all the time. I take people's money all the time,.

Yesterday was everyone's chance to get one over on me yet no one had any confidence in Pac. NO ONE wanted any part of putting money on Pac.

Right about now everyone is WISHING they would have had confidence. They are even wishing that someone else had any confidence. It's only a dream. It didn't happen. :crying:

None of that changes the fact Manny obliterated Hatton like a second rate amateur.

You need a week to think about taking a bet?

No. If you have confidence in a fighter you have confidence in a fighter. That's it. No one had any confidence in Pac until AFTER the fight.

First off, Castillo wasn't my fighter, and no one knew how shot Castillo was. Yeah, good pick on a fight where I didn't care about either fighter.

The fact is, you're coming into EVERY Pacquiao-Hatton thread talking smack about how you "called everyone out". BS! The only post I read from you pre-fight were "HATTON CANT LOSE", "HATTON BY LATE TKO". Why don't you spam every thread about those post?

I didn't even see you post a thread about betting in the general or betting forum. In fact I didn't know you had made bets on the fight until you specifically started trolling and spamming threads about it. Then I had to "search" for where you did it, and it was BURIED in a 11-12 page thread. How is that calling anyone out?

Would I have taken a 3-2 bet with you? I don't know. I've never gambled with anyone on FightBeat, I don't gamble very much even when I go to Vegas. I guess I don't understand why you're in every thread trying to bring up how you were risking "$200" on your boy Hatton.

Good for you? You're a loyal fan.

You would NOT have taken the bet even though those were to best odds you were going to see. You were talking A LOT of noise about Castillo beating Hatton. So much that I called you out in the betting forum. You were too much of a coward to back up your words then. The same thing would have happened yesterday.
