    Two fighters in a row?

He retired Oscar, and after a brutal 2 round arse whipping and violent KO, it wouldn't be surprising if Hatton retired too.

    What do you think?

I don't think everyone Pac knocks out is completely done. Hatton has some fight left in him IMO. The logical next fight for Pacquiao would be Mayweather, that should be the last fight.

That's the thing, I actually think Hatton would still be very competitive with the "rest" of 140 and possibly beat them (Witter, Bradley, etc).

But that KO was so vicious, maybe it's taken everything out of him?

Hatton should retire now IMHO. His punch resistance has gone- he used to have at worst a good chin and now he is hurt by almost every shot he takes. If he continues, he will end up straggling around fighting cans in Manchester and he doesn't need to. He has his health, a good legacy and plenty of cash. That should be that.

He needs to because everyone knows that Floyd is too chickenshit to come after him. It's embarrassing Floyds reasons for retiring were not near as impressive as manny's. But some fighters have courage, others do not.....Floyd will protect his phony legacy and stay retired, you can count on it.....the alternative is just too frightening for him.

    In for a quick nibble.
I agree,.. I remember watching him for the first time against Vince Phillips,.. who could crack,.. and he walked into a SICKENING hail-mary uppercut..that landed flush, making a bone crunching sound,..he staggered a bit but he took it pretty well,.. he would die if he took something like that these days,... he has eroded quite alot,..and I think 'WALKING' into punches is responsible for that,.. he didnt just 'take' punches.. or get punched while he was on the backfoot,.. he LEAPED..into them,..

I just read the title of the thread, I probably would have said along the same lines because Floyd IS a coward and needs to fight him, but won't.....so manny should retire.
