1. Where's the Poll???... 2. U GOTTA have an "Undecided" Option, Because ALOT will Rest on HOW Floyd Looks Against JM Marquez... REED:hammert:
Pacman all the way. He'll knock the ducking f*cker out and expose him as an overrated chump. :kidcool: Even Reed and dawg, 2 of the biggest Fairyweather fans in history, would be sh*tting bricks right before the opening bell knowing full well that Pac has a great chance in sending Floyd to the grave.
And yeah it does sort of depend on how Floyd looks against Marquez. I'm expecting Floyd to win, but if he looks much better and much sharper than anticipated, then my pick could possibly change, which is currently Pacman by KO.
Oh, stop being pussies & make your pics! :fightme::: Lets just assume Floyd's bones haven't turned to dust after a year lay off and he'll still be the same old PBF come the winter. I just wanna gauge the general feeling around this one, nobodies gonna take your picks to heart or as final assessments.
If it's the SAME Floyd that Stopped Hatton, REED likes him by UD...Floyd's JAB, LEAD Right Hands & Ability to ADJUST will B MAJOR Factors...Plus, Floyd is a Bit TOUGHER than Guys like to Give him Credit for Being... The SAFE Pick is Floyd UD...But REED is Alot LESS Certain about the Outcome than he was on May 1st... REED:hammert:
If Floyd loses to Pacquaio, EVERYTHING Floyd has ever achieved in his career goes completely to sh*t. :: All that P4P sh*t, all those titles, everything! Can't wait!!! :crafty:
:::laughing: You just never learn do you LOK? Calfagula said the same thing about his boy Hatton. Everybody said the same thing before DLH/Pac. Pac is a killing machine. His power is incredible, he's like prime Tyson. 2 fisted power, unlimited stamina, amazing speed. Floyd the fag retired for a reason. Ducking Cotto, Margo, Mosley, and anybody who could challenge him. He's a bitch and he's gonna get KTFO by the Pacman!!! :kidcool:
disagREED... If Floyd LOSES to Pac, All it Means is that Floyd was the 2nd BEST Fighter of his Era...Guys like U will TRY to Tear Away @ ALL of Floyd's Accomplishments, but it'll B BOGUS...Moreso, U'd Actually B SHITTING on Manny Pac, if U Tear Down Floyd N the Aftermath... REED:hammert:
If Pac win's he's indisputably one of the top 10 fighters of all time. Hell, when the dust settles he may be already.
We're gonna open champagne bottles. I can see the experts and writers salivating at the thought...sharpening their pencils....just waiting to completely destroy Floyd's entire reputation.
If Pac BEATS Floyd, REED would have him Top 5-10 Undoubtedly...Right Now, REED has Pac N the 10-20 Range (Closer to 20)...TAKING Floyd's "0" Would B HUGE... REED:hammert:
Floyd would NOT be the second best fighter of his era if he lost to Pacquaio. How can you be the best or even the second best when you got warriors like Cotto and Mosley who've been in epic wars while the ducking clown shoulder rolls his way to boring wins. What epic wars has Floyd ever been in? The dude is scared sh*tless of a tough challenge. He's no warrior. Just a loudmouth bitch. I hope Pacman sees him on the street and just slaps his bitch ass. Floyd will run behind his security guys.::
Funny, I got Floyd also in the 10-20 range. Bitch motherf*cker ain't beaten anybody worth a sh*t. WHo did he beat? Shot Zab? Sharmba? Bumdomir? Shot Oscar? Hatton? Come on Reed.:: Most of those fights went the distance.
He aint beat anyone worth a damn yet you got him in the 10-20 range? I wouldn't even have him top 30. I would probably have Pac in the 15-20 range right now. I think the Hatton win (and it's manner) edges him above RJJ or Hopkins.
I like the poll but there has to be at least two more options: 1. PBF retires after beating JMM and in true PBF fashion once again ducks the opponent the public wants him to fight 2. JMM defeats PBF making a rubber match between Pacquiao and JMM the more reasonable next fight PBF hasn't been fighting too many good fighters lately. He likes to fight 140 pounders at 147. And now he even insisted on fighting a 135 pounder at 147, all the while the contenders in his weight division are denied their shot. There's a reason for that. It's because PBF doesn't punch very hard, isn't very strong even at 147, and quite possibly doesn't have the most reliable chin. So while his strategy of fighting light-weights at 147 pounds may counteract his weaknesses and prolong the misperception that he's unbeatable, it's not completely impossible that JMM will beat PBF. Afterall, JMM basically proved he was Pacquiao's equal. And many are choosing Pacquiao to defeat PBF. P4P, JMM will be the best fighter that PBF will have fought. So if the size difference doesn't provide PBF the advantage he thinks it will, who knows? PBF's win over Hatton was impressive when people were still under the impression that Hatton knew how to fight. But now that that myth has been dispelled, who's to say JMM can't beat PBF?
I got him in the 20 range cause he got wins, despite how boring they were. He did beat them. So I gotta give him that respect. But he ducked Shane, Margie and anybody who could give him a real beatdown hence he doesn't get into the top 10.
His best wins were against a gun shy past-prime Oscar, a blown up Hatton, Diego Corrales & going 1-1 with Castillo. That just doesn't bear up vs other top 20 guys, IMO. He's borderline top 30, IMO.
You're right. I got a complete fight collection of Floyd which I downloaded 3 years ago. I'm going to go back and check on history. I think though that you make a great point. Floyd's "legacy", a term I use loosely, is deteriorating more and more...
