Calzaghe doesn't strike me as having any true confidence at all. In fact he strikes me as a very, very insecure dude (he recently came out and said he had been badly bullied as a kid and that clicked allot of pieces together in my mind) & I doubt he has the emotional strength or intelligence to wear the trousers in that relationship or command her respect. ::So, as bizarre a conversational tangent as this is, despite his lack of looks (which a man can overcome) I reckon Ricky might well be better with the ladies than Calzaghe!
It's certainly possible. Calzaghe is one of the best looking fighters around, and Hatton is one ugly, ugly fucker. But a lot of girls seriously don't care THAT much about looks, I think looks wear off a bit. Girls sometimes like a cheeky chappy like Hatton. As far as pulling girls on a night though, Calzaghe would wipe the floor with hatton, if people didn't know they were rich boxers.
That much is definitely true. I imagine most of the women Joe could pull in a club would tire of him and dump him within two weeks though (money & fame aside)
Of course. Calzaghe only nails them, when they are washed-up. At least when Ricky gets laid, he´s in with the best.
either retire or go back to fighting hand-picked opponents with padded records or over the hill contenders in Manchester with a paid-off referee.
LOK, do you think if Hatton loses his next marquee fight, he would have a good career serving fish and chips in a Manchester Pub?
'Bama honestly.. I think much higher of him than that i think he'll open his own pub and call it fattons, he'll get big and fat and tell stories of the old boxing days
Do you think he would come out during birthdays and sing songs to people like "There's only oonnnnnnne birthday girl! Walking along! Singing a song! Walking in a birthday wonderland!" ??
I agree that he has a high mountain to climb, but it's not IMPOSSIBLE. If he fights Khan, Juan Diaz or eurobums, then it's NOT over. It will be that he is not fighting superfights eventhough it will DRAW like it is and you and I will still watch. Fighters have comeback from devastating ko's before. Duran, Frazier..., they kept fighting still at a high level. If he TRULY loves the game, then he should stick around and ATTEMPT to adjust things and resume his LUCRATIVE career. Does he want to be sitting with his grandkids telling them he should have jabbed and moved his head more on his way in? That he never fought again? Now he knows his LIMITATIONS. He has to realize it is up to HIM whether he'll be knocked out again. It doesn't necessarily have to happen when right now that is all he is thinking about. He has to live in the now, in the moment and not in the PAST, having it in his mind being always 2:59 of the 2nd round on that May 2nd 2009 night.
David Diaz was a tougher fight for Pacquiao than Hatton. :atu: I know I've said it before as have others, but honestly, when you consider all the implications it's amazing. Hatton won rounds against PBF. But couldn't deal as well with Pacquiao as he did PBF? Which was at 147? Pretty fucking hilarious.
no just styles... Mayweather destroyed Corrales... Corrales and Castillo almost killed each other... Mayweather pounded Hatton Hatton made Castillo bow down..
How about if he truly loves his marbles? Roach just called for him to quit and said "don't end up like me...my trainers told me to quit and I had 5 more fights and lost 4 of them"
