Not that it's really important but the Tale of the Tape said Hatton was 5'6" and Pacquaio was 5'6 1/2"...:dunno:
It was definitely a noticeable height difference in the ring. I mean shit, Hatton was horizontal for most of the bout. I kid, I kid...
Hatton looked substantially bigger to me during the referees final instructions, although I was pretty hammered at the time.
Hatton was taller, by half an inch to an inch, so yes the tale of the tape was wrong. I think Hatton is a legit 5'6, and Pacman is around 5'5 and a half.
Correct. That was my perception before the fight as well. Pac's about the same height as Tszyu was, despite Tszyu's 5'7 tale of the tape.
A BETTER Question is, R Tales of the Tape EVER Accurate???...Manny Pac, Hatton & Sugar Shane R ALL Shorter than they R CONSISTENTLY Listed As...Paul Williams is TALLER than he's CONSISTENTLY Listed as... The Only CONSISTENTLY ACCURATE "Tale of the Tape" Measurement Seems to B REACH... REED:shit:
They are usually false yep. I remember we discussed this before, and especially about Williams, who is the opposite, actually taller than quoted. In the case of hatton though, I think he is one of the few fighters than is actually his listed height - 5'6. Tszyu was often listed as 5'7 and he was shorter than Hatton. What about Shane though? I usually have a good idea of how tall fighters really are, but I'm not sure about Shane. He is always listed as 5'9, what do you think his real height is?
Closer to 5'8...Dela's Usually Listed @ 5'10 1/2 (Which is Pretty ACCURATE Having Been 3-4 Feet from him @ 1 Point) & he's @ Least a COUPLE Inches or More Taller than Shane... REED:kidcool:
Hatton is at least an inch taller than pac if not 2 or 3 inches taller. He looked taller than pac in the ring.
Tyson also was nowhere near the 5'11 1/2 he was listed as. He even got listed as 6' in several early fights whereas he was 5'10 AT THE MOST. I suspect Lewis was TALLER than 6'5.
