It might since a lot of Filipinos will tune in to see who Pac's next opponent is. Let's not kid ourselves.

Gayweather is the one who has to make the comeback cause he's lost all his money. So all this ppv draw bullsh*t means nothing. Dumb f*ck can't hang onto his money. He'll be dead broke when he permanently retires anyway.

Dude please....Mayweather is a bigger draw than both Pac or Marquez...

Filipinos? Where were the filipino ppv paying customer for Pac vs. De La Hoya???? Why did De La Hoya vs. Mayweather outsold it by ALOT?

OKAY..look i don't care much for Mayweather...I have said in a few post already that he is FUCKED..he has Pac at 140...and Mosley/Cotto at 147..if he doesn't fight one of those 3 in his next fight after Marquez...then he is a BITCH!!!!

And he is lucky that Cotto got beat by Margarito..if not the pressure would be doubled...

Probably because A) it was perceived as a much more evenly matched, competitive fight (the Pac fight was regarded as a mismatched tune up to a PBF rematch for Oscar) B) Oscar was still regarded a potential top p4p type guy, which was a perception which had been lost by the time of the Pac fight C) it was promoted WAY more with the first ever 24/7 shows and the hype those brought.

I doubt Mayweather is a bigger draw than Pacman at this stage after people have watched their respective performances against Oscar & Ricky. We'll see if Mayweather-JMM does anywhere near what Pac-Hatton did.

The ONLY fight you can compare is Mayweather vs Hatton and Pac vs Hatton. Both very similar situations. Both reached the height of their popularity AFTER the Oscar fight. Both fought Hatton in their next fight. Who drew more? My guess is it was Pac vs Hatton. You can't compare a fight from a couple years ago to one that hasn't even happened yet. You can however compare both fighters most recent fight, especially considering it was against the same guy.

Yes Mayweather vs. DLH was view as more competitive, and the 24/7 help it a lot. But De La Hoya had not being a potential P4P top fighter in years..maybe top 15-20.

If anything May vs. DLH was view by many as the first time that Mayweather could be DEFEATED..and a lot of people tune in to watch it.

of course Mayweather vs. Marquez won't do as much as Hatton vs. Pac..A. Marquez is not near as popular as Hatton or Pacquiao....B. May vs. Marqu won't have the british fans buying 700-800 K's worth of PPV....

You are comparing apples to oranges.

Hatton is way more popular that Marquez so how can you compare the two? A vaild comparison would be to see if Pacquiao - Hatton does as much as Mayweather - Hatton.

What is happening here is the same thing that happen after Mayweather beat De La Hoya..and then went on to Hatton.......

both Mayweather and Pacquiao fans are overating their ppv' POWER....

the same shit you are spitting out now that Pacquiao is a bigger draw than this guy and that guy..was the same garbage coming out of Mayweather after DLH/Hatton fights...

It takes two to tango....if Mayweather vs. Hatton did 1.4 million...but 900K came from the UK..then both fighters have similar drawing power....in their respected countries...

How were the PPV numbers for Pacquiao vs. Marquez, Morales and Barrera did any of them crack above 600K' buys???? NO??!! OKAY THEN........

both Pac and Mayweather became a bit more popular/well know after the DLH fight..and u follow that up vs. Hatton who has a HUGE following in the UK...and you can have PPV success.....

How is that a fair comparison? Mayweather wasn't the draw he is now before the Oscar fight and neither is Pac. The only fair comparison is the Hatton fight. I don't get why you think Pac vs JMM from a couple years ago would mean anything. Pac is defiitely a bigger draw now than he was then.

Also Pac-Hatton/Floyd Hatton isn't quite a fair comparison either because Hatton lost the Mayweather fight and inevitably some of his luster with it. If it does 90% of Hatton-Floyd it'll prove Pac is as big a draw as Floyd WAS at that time. And with a jaw dropping KO like Pac scored which people will talk & talk about Pac's star will have risen further.

    Here are some numbers.

Mayweather vs Gatti 340,000 PPV Buys
Mayweather vs Baldomir 325,000 PPV Buys

Pac vs JMM 2 400,000 PPV Buys.

Go ahead and reverse this logic for Pac vs Oscar. Oscar's drawing power definitely suffered since the Mayweather fight.

Pac is a bigger draw than Mayweather. Nobody can prove otherwise.

if pacquaio hatton really did that well then it doesnt bode well for a mayweather pacquaio fight happening. unless hbo pushes hard for it. i highly doubt mayweather would take less than an even split and IF that buy rate is accurate then there is no way in hell pacquaio should or arum should offer him an even split.

those numbers there say pacquaio deserves 60-65% of all proceeds

base on? early estimates of how Hatton vs Pacquiao did?...early estimates lets wait till the FINAL NUMBERS come out.....

I'm not a Mayweather fan..anything that sends less money into his pockets is cool with me....:hammert:
and let see how PPV buy rate breaks down for the Hatton vs. pac fight...in Hatton vs. Mayweather...700-800 K's were sold in the UK...

for Pacquiao vs. Mayweather...the only number that is going to matter is PPV buys stateside...cause the UK fans won't be buying in large number since their boy is not fighting....

I'm sorry Metrosexual...[IMG] is that how a metrosexual should look like.....

but i dont need people agreeing with me...

You are the one saying if Mayweather vs. Marquez is a successful PPV it will be because Pacquiao fans tune in to see who his next opponent would be....SUCH NUTHUGGING hasn't been seen in his forums for quite some time....

If this is true, this is the easiest rip off in boxing. Not only was the undercard shit, but the main event was only 2 rounds.

    Easy money *snap*

lets wait for the official numbers to come in.....

and it doesn't matter really....50-50 should be the split....neither guy will take LESS...and if one guy wants more and the fight doesn't happen because of that..then that guy is a bitch..be it Mayweather or Pacquiao...

Mayweather is the reluctant to fight the best at his division for years..so he is the one in the corner now....

    fight Pac,Mosley or Cotto.....no other options...left...

I am a metrosexual, and posting a 5 year old picture disproves that?

What about you and your fake pictures of your girlfriend? I actually posted pics of me and my girlfriend enjoying a moment together as I suckle her chest.

You posted some Queen Latifa wannabe ghetto chick from BangBros.com as your "girlfriend". Notice you weren't in the picture anywhere.

    Who was exposed?

Who doesn't have unflattering pictures of themselves? I'm almost 28 and that picture was a 22 year old grad student getting his ass kicked in a graduate level algorithms course. You can't go to the gym regularly when you're trying to not fail out of school.

    You're just proving that:

    1) You're a creepy puerto rican loser by constantly "saving" pictures of me

    2) You admire my life enough to constantly save evidence of it for your own personal joy

    3) Your FAKE girlfriend doesn't satisfy you enough, so you need to save pictures of my girlfriend

    Am I wrong?
