Was just thinking bout this matchup. Who wins between the current Manny, and the Taylor that beat McGirt?
two questions: can Taylor handle that punch for 12 rounds? the only thing we know with 100% at this wiegth is that Pac still hits like a train and while he was at times a marvelous fighter, Taylor was hurt more than a few times before he ever was "ruined" in the Chavez fight (which is kind of bullshit anyway, but thats beside the point) how would Manny react to fighting a guy with faster hands than even he has? a guy that would make him HAVE to be more defensive at times and a guy that while not a big puncher WAS plenty strong and had barrelloads of guts
Pacquiao would probably end Taylor in 4 rounds. This wouldn't even be competitive because of the difference in firepower and Taylor's desire for trading bombs when he should box. Pac is just as fast as Taylor hand and foot wise but with much greater punching power. I can't believe this match up was even suggested, it's licensed murder, not a fight.
I would tell you to remove his dick and balls out of your mouth but you would probably just ask Manny to put it in your ass... God this shit is tiresome.
Manny taking him out in 4 is idiotic, but I can see Manny stopping Taylor late. Mel simply got hit too much. But I can also see Dosta's prediction playing out, and Taylor winning a decision. Only sure thing is, it would a GREAT fight. And even if Taylor won, he'd take ALOT of punishment in the process.
I'd probably pick Taylor in a close decision. The key here isn't hand speed, it's volume. As an aside, Meldrick would also match well against Mayweather Jr., and he'd beat him too via decision.
