has there ever been a legitimate claim from a JMM nuthugger.

The first Pacquiao fight was 7-5 Manny 6-6, but with 3 KD's it shouldnt have been a close decision.

The second fight was more of the same. I literally cn't omprehend someone saying they see Marquez as the better fighter. The second one had alot of closer rounds, but this myth about the first fight is ridiculous.

Pacquiao won at least 6 rounds of the first fight

Wow Jaws, we agree whole heartedly on something here ;)

I agree, it's a fucking myth, and I've been saying this since the fight happened.

If Marquez won any of them, it was the second (ironically the one where Pacman got the official W) but NOT the first.

I said the same thing at the time too, that I think either consciously or subconsciously people gave Marquez rounds ONLY because he was back in the fight.

It's admirable that he survived the first round, and came back to make a fight of it, but that doesn't mean you give him rounds that Pacman won.

Is JMM overrated? Maybe so, when you consider how close fans link Manny Pacquiao and he. But when you look at this, the most important reason they can find for doing this is how close each of their fighters were with the other....doing that ignores everything else on their resumes.

Pacquiao: Barrera x 2, Morales x 2, De La Hoya, Hatton, D Diaz, Larios, Sasakul and Ledwaba.

Marquez: Peden, Medina, Gainer, Salido, Polo, Jandaeng, Barrera, Juarez, Casamayor, J Diaz.

They aren't close outside of their fights with each other.

Agreed. It's like someone trying to argue that Ken Norton is Ali's equal because of how close their bouts were.

JMM nuthuggers are stupid fucking idiots.

Marquez's last two wins are no worse than Pacs. Hatton is a big win for Manny (the manner of which more so) but Oscar was fucked. JMM ripped Diaz apart and was the first to stop Casa. These are HUGE wins IMHO.

Manny > JMM but the Pac huggers (yes, you Bama) are moronic when it comes to JMM. Marquez WON the second fight IMHO- the first fight 'robbery' (which it wasn't) doesn't count shit when considering this basic fact.

What a waste of hard drive space this ridiculous place has become.

I don't know why I even post on this shit bag anymore.

I doubt you will ever know more boxing than me.
I have my favorites which cloud my judgement sometimes, but to say you know more than I do...based on what?
If BroadwayJoe or Cdogg said that sure...
Or Fitz, or Karl, hell even Jaws(though that guy seriously needs to stop hating old fighters lol)

    Then don't post here... :dunno:

I'm not doing the whole Pac-JMM second fight again, because I did it to death with MWS and a few others after the fight. As I watched it live, I though Marquez won it clearly but decided to rewatch, sober, after I was called out to explain why I thought he'd won clearly. I then posted a RBR scorecard here with an explanation on each round. By the end, JMM won by a point- 115-114 I think- and that was having given a couple of VERY close rounds to Manny.

As I've said elsewhere, a point either way for either guy I can understand. A clear win for either guy is total bullshit.

Your inability to give JMM any credit makes what you have to say entirely irrelevant. Stick to cock measuring and eating pies.

I've got nothing against you punisher, but you've never struck me as being particularly knowledgeable or astute when it comes to boxing.

I'm not being childish, I'm just saying, I've been a hardcore boxing fan for many years, I fucking love it, I love watching it, and I love doing it.

There are a few posters here that are better versed in the all time history of the sport, but generally speaking, I know boxing.

Oh and MTF, I've been arguing FOR Marquez in this thread regarding Casa and Diaz, I think they are both brilliant wins.

But let's not be stupid, neither of them are as good a wins as Oscar and Hatton for manny, not even close actually.

    Because of what actually?
The fact that most of my knowledge is only on hispanic fighters?
Or the fact that I didn't mention Pacman in my post?
