Yeah, I know, welcome to two weeks ago. But I just watched the fight tonight. It was a question of who sucked less and Carl Froch got the W. He's no worse or better than Bute. Andrade would make mince meat out of him. Feed him to the dog!

He certainly doesnt "suck". He proved against Taylor that he is in fact a good fighter, and he has a ton of heart. Is he great, or will he ever be great? Hell no, but he certainly doesnt "suck" either. Other than Kessler, he'd have a good chance of beating anyone in the divsion. I hope the proposed fight with him and Bute comes off. I see that as a compelling fight. Unfortuntely it doesnt seem like Bute is interested in fighting anyone with a pulse after Andrade.

Apparently now they're talking about Froch vs Green possibly. Thats a fight I'd love to see.

Froch is awesome. Fighters of his quality never suck and its only on lower brow forums that people get away with saying that.

Froch's hard chin saved him in that fight. He got tons of heart, don't get me wrong, but he lacks skills and defense. His long reach and his height pose a problem for many. Taylor tired himself out and had no gas after the 8th.

As a Calzaghe fan, I watched the fight trying to gauge how he'd do against Joe. (Froch had been calling him out for years, long before he was even worthy of a match.) This was my first look at Froch. I have to say for the first few rounds I was laughing my ass off. But as the fight went on I was more impressed with Froch. He's hard as nails and definitely has the stamina to keep a good arork rate even in a tough fight.

In many of Calzaghe's fights, Joe's punch volume makes the opponent stop throwing their normal punch output. I actually see Froch doing the opposite and trying to match him punch for punch. I still think Calzaghe would win but it would make for an intriguing fight.

And yes I know, Calzaghe retired, but it wouldn't be the strangest thing if he came back for a high stakes all UK showdown.

Anyone that should be a substantial underdog against Bute or Andrade, is not "awesome"

    Froch is diarrhea.

One of the most irritating fighters I've ever watched. All that RJJ style show boating really doesn't fly when you're as average and hittable as Carl Froch.

It's irritating if you are a big fan, or more so if you are his trainer. But for everyone else, it makes for exciting action....his last two have been cracking

Its possible, but I question Green's heart. And if nothing else Froch has plenty of heart.
