I never denied that I gained weight during grad school and it took time to get it off. Berkeley and MIT are ridiculously competitive schools, and I spent more time in research than hitting a treadmill. I'm not fat right now because I have more time to be choice savvy about my diet and exercise. Big deal.
What I don't get is if I'm "not a software engineer in the game industry, and I never went to UC Berkeley or MIT" why are people finding major newspapers publishing facts to the contrary? :: I've been interviewed by the SF Chronicle, LA Times, and Chicago-Tribune about my work before. I'm not saying I'm super famous, but I am known for working on the cutting edge of interactive and visual simulations. I've been contacted by PhDs from various school for opinions on grant funded projects they are under taking, and I myself don't have a PhD, which should tell you something about the quality of my work in the past 5 years. I was invited to speak in front of 4,000 people at the LA Convention Center about my opinions on games, interactive simulation, and the industry itself (the LA Times reported this and TFK can stalk my life online to find news articles which corroborate these facts). At the end of my talk, 4,000 people were literally standing up and clapping in gratitude. A 60 year old woman came up to me afterward and said that she was going to learn how to '3D model' because of my talk. It was a beautiful moment in my life. Like I said I'm not bragging, but I'm 27, and have given talks on 3 different continents, have a beautiful fiance, and love my life. Last year I got to visit Dubai for 2 weeks to help a firm working on the Burj Dubai to simulate certain real world fail-cases for them, and THEY contacted me for the project. So if I'm considered poor because I own a 36'' LCD TV for mine and Jenn's bedroom, maybe everyone here is just very wealthy. I find life very comfortable.

Well, I think this forum sometimes goes overboard like I said before and I think Petre banning Caligula was just a result of someone finally stepping up. When people posted REED's prison photos on here, I thought it was ridiculously tasteless. REED doesn't deserve to have his mugshot paraded around no matter how funny people think it is. As for me, I don't care when people post news articles of me being interviewed by major newspapers. I'm not ashamed of my career and academic pedigree. It actually proves what I'm saying is true.

I posted one picture of me and Jenn on my birthday. It's somewhere buried in a picture thread. I'm hesitant to post full high-res photos of Jenn on here because of the animals that frequent this forum. Posting public photos from newspapers of me is fine, a lot of them are ages old. As for my recent photos I keep them locked down because I don't want people parading them around or photo shopping them. I just like to keep my recent life private though in 2010 I'll be in S.F talking at another major conference so I'm pretty sure some of the plebians here will find a S.F Chronicle article with me in it during that time.

well like i was talking to Andrew about. People like you think that WE are holding up the sale of fightbeat. Thats not the case. Cupey has been made offers since the very beginning. In fact, about a year ago i offered to buy this site as well. Cupey just isnt serious about it. If cupey was serious about this sale, this could be done right away. A year ago, i offered to buy the site. Then Myself, andrew and dsimon made him an offer, then basically that shit never happened because cupey pulled out. Now this time around, We made the same offer. Then Andrew made an offer by himself. And i also would buy the place by myself. But when cupey is actually sees the reality that he has to sell this place, he goes quiet. This is what i have to go through every time with him. Im kind of tired of it.

Are you sure you're not the one melting down? Petre made his decision, banned Caligula (rightfully so), and you're still crying. Relax man, I'm sure it's not a perma-ban, and even if it is, you can always stalk Caligula and find his e-mail so you two can rekindled that relationship anytime.
Well whoever posted it stole it from my MIT webpage (now defunct), or from the conference website which featured my talk. I use a different profile picture now for my conference talks anyway. As for chicks, I never said I was a chick magnet, but I usually get a lot of flirtation from college aged women because of my wit, and charm.
We are serious about having this one. I cant speak for anyone else, but im not interested in started a boxing website from the ground up. I rather improve an already established one.
