Is it a FOREGONE Conclusion that Ward will Win OR Does Edison Miranda Represent the 1st LEGITIMATE Chance Andre Ward has of LOSING a Fight???....

It's a test and nothing more. We all hopefully know what Mierda is by now.

He has little skill.
He has little chin.
He has a big mouth.
He can punch a bit, although even that aspect is a bit overrated.
(He also nearly killed Arthur Abraham who some American shills and Euro trash think is an elite fighter, sorry for the digression)

It's Ward's first test, a loss and he is done. Ward is flashy, but right now I am undecided about him. He might be all flash and no substance.

All I can say is, I don't care about this fight and it is still a better idea than Dawson/Tarver II.

 

We will find out if Ward has a decent chin or a crappy one.:bears:

 

Ward by TKO...Ward will outbox him...maybe use some defense let Miranda get tired after a few rounds..then jump on him with combination and stop him.

If WARD can't beat Miranda then he needs to fucking retire...cause he is not going to be successful in boxing.

 

It boils down to whether Ward can punch. if he can't, he could end up like Vernon Forrest after the first Mayorga fight.

Interesting fight...sometimes wild swingers give classic boxers fits. Miranda DOES have boxing skill along with the freakish arm length he's got.

Haven't seen Miranda after getting stretched in the rematch with Abraham. If he hasn't looked shot in his last fights I'm going with him solely based on his facing the better competition win or lose.

If Ward doesn't buzz him and get respect early, could be a long night for him. I'm not sold on whether Ward's defense is good enough to support his offense and chin.

 

Miranda loooked awful in last fight against some journeyman in England. Didn´t even make the light-heavyweight limit. That being said he looks lean and muscular on the photo at fightnews, which means he´s either drained himself to the point of no return or he could really present a stiff challenge to Ward´s weak chin. The safe pick is ward by decision or late stoppage, but if Miranda has trained hard and makes 168 comfortably Ward could have a fight on his hands, that he didn´t expect. Miranda must know this is his last opportunity. A win and he is right back in the mix, a loss and he is relegated to gatekeeper.

I think that is a stock photo from his 160 lb days. That's mY guess, anyway.

Ward is too good to lose to Miranda and plays too safe to KO him. I think it will be a fairly boring fight with Ward's class showing the entire fight...sort of Dirrell vs Chin Checker 2

 

It's the kind of fight that's hard to analyze based on styles.

Both guys have good power. Ward has better boxing skills and Miranda has more experience against better fighters. I'm not sure how much either of those things matter.

I'm predicting Ward by KO because this seems like one of those fights where one guy is on the way up and the other on the way down.

That said a Miranda KO wouldn't exactly rock the boxing world.

Haven't seen Ward fight in a long time, but if he's the same soft pussy as he was the last time I saw him fight, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get stopped or just flat out beaten. In fact that's my prediction. He loses by KO.

Im not watching the fight tonight and dunno when its on, but Andre Ward isn't much good as a pro. His chin is shit and it affects his offense, as he seems afraid to commit to his shots and quite often backhands alot of his jabs.

That said, Im suprised Miranda made weight and considering how bad he looked against that loser Joey Vegas, I think Miranda's career as a bully is all but over. Don't care who wins the fight as neither is going anywhere, which is a shme to say about a guy like Ward who had such high points as an AM.
