Early PPV estimates for Pacquiao vs. Hatton 1.6 - 2 million?

The fact that REED and other Floyd fans are not acknowledging is that for a bout with NOT A SINGLE USA BOXER in the main card (read a fight between just two foreigners) the Pacquiao-Hatton bout did marvelous numbers here. Had the other guy facing Pacman have being an american superstar, believe me, it would had done double the numbers! Floyd is like Mosley: he needs a bigger name opponent to make good numbers. If Floyd faces, lets say, Lovemore N'Dou, it will sell only among both fighters close relatives.::

 

Pacquiao vs. Diaz sold almost a million ppv's...

 

Floyd fougt an undefeated Hatton. Pacquiao didn't and did it some 18 months later. The Mayweather v Hatton fight was a unification of sorts between undefeated champs of 140 and 147. There was the UK vs USA thing going on and nobody had seen Hatton vulnerable and defeated.

They shouldn't even be compared.

 

Floyd did bigger numbers with Hatton and with Oscar aka the American superstar.

 

basically there should be a 50/50 split if mayweather jr and pacquaio fight. unless mayweather vs marquez does some astronomical ppv #s

50-50 everything....Pac will live w/ that....Mayweather if money is tight..then he will also have to live w/ it...or he can always fight Cotto or Mosley for a bit less..and risk getting fucked up.

 

Hatton = bigger draw than FLOYD

Oscar = bigger draw than both Floyd & Hatton

Go check how many PPVs sold Floyd vs Judah. opcorn:Equal to Oscar vs his once-a-year-bum-fight, Yori Boy Campas. Much less than Taylor-Hopkins II. Much less than Tarver-Jones III.

 

Do U HONESTLY Think Mainstream PPV Buyers Gave a Shit about Some HALF ASSED "Unification of Sorts"???...

Floyd-Judah did around 350,000.

Tarver-Jones 3 did around 415,000 and Taylor-Hops did around 410,000. Much less to me is more then 65k.
