That video reminded me that PBF is not the typical "cutie". He's a strong SOB, can fight on the inside and likes to punish his opponents badly.

I'm happy he's back, he's a great fighter and it opens up the possibility for the most important fight since Chavez-Whitaker!

Or if you listen to Floyd this thread could have been about Arturo Gatti.

Yup. And I have no problem giving fight #2 clearly and easily to Floyd.

But fight #1 was IMO not possible to give Floyd 7 rounds.

Also, I like how the tribute video could only find 4 seconds of Floyd/JLC #1, wherein even in the video Castillo gets the better of Floyd. That speaks mountains to me.

Also good job showing 30 seconds of Zab/Floyd starting at round EIGHT. Remember when Floyd got dropped?

Still, propaganda aside, Floyd is a truly gifted fighter.

P4P based on beating who? You have to do what guys like Ali and Holyfield did in order to be great. That means fighting the best in the world and proving yourself. Not jumping weight divisions, handpicking the easiest opposition and picking on little guys to step up to fight at catch weights.
What epic battle has Floyd been in? What memorable fight? The fact that he left for almost 2 years and nobody in the world giving a f*ck whether he lived or died is proof that he's not that important to the sport of boxing or to the world in general. He has no legacy.
He's a ducker and is steering clear of any potential threat. His career is one big business scam...to get into peoples' wallets. He's no legend!

What's funny is that nobody on this site has ever or will ever shed a dollar for this guy's fights on PPV. It's either a live internet feed or a play by play report or a stolen feed via satelite.

You know, I would really be glad Floyd was back if he intended to fight the guys at the top of his own division. It's pretty clear he's just back for a payday or two and I just can't understand getting excited about that.

The truth is, Floyd is an amazing fighter but when the best guys refuse to fight the best available opponents it really doesn't interest me. I don't know why any fan of Floyd would not want him to fight the best guys. I can't understand supporting the fights he's had for the past 5 or so years. Why do his fans not insist that he face the best? I just don't get it.

The only conclusion I can come to is his fans are just as concerned with his undefeated record as he is.
