He looked overmatched to me. He got dominated and taken out quickly. So yeah, he's more or less a bum.
Mark Miller was garbage last night. He made so many amateurish mistakes it was pathetic. I was laughing as he held on to a headlock as the Brit got side control and then he hung onto a guillotine choke as the Brit takes the mount. Neither guy was impressive. But Mark Miller looked like a guy who had been training MMA for less than 6 months.

just caught up on all the epsiodes last night (they had like a mini-marathon) couple notes right off the top of my head: happy as hell junie browning jr didnt make it into the house, and if he goes down to 135 hell get killed by that torres dude (think thats his name, champ at 135 in WEC) felt bad for the black dude with the beard and mohawk from the UK team, bisping fucking oversleeping and missing his match, then getting caught in a move hed been working on defending since he got into the house
Dan Henderson is the worst coach, entertainment wise, in the history of TUF. They could've done this whole season without him, and nobody would know the difference. TFK

I've always liked Dan Henderson, but jesus christ, he is such an awful coach. He is just so dull and boring, no spark, no vibe. It would be horrible being trained by him. And regarding "Stapes". I had a feeling he would lose, the kind of scenario that REED illustrated. And just because you were a marine, doesn't mean you can fight. The guy looked pretty crap to be honest, really amateurish. And the American guy that lost too? Jesus. He was like a 13 year old. "I just wanna smash his face, I wanna get his head against the cage and just smash it". It was absurd. And really, the fact that he was talking about knocking the other guy's teeth out, and ends up getting his own teeth knocked out? The irony.
Henderson is the most entertaining guy on this season. The rest of these guys are either very annoying or very boring.

Bisping is very annoying IMO. Dan has the best lines on the show so far: "He would have beat him in a drinking contest" "Bisping didn't show because he knew he wasn't going to be able to gloat" "It's ok now you look like me" after that dude gets his teeth knocked out
All UK sportsmen are heinously boring. It's like the trade in the 'personality' part of their brain for athleticism aged 13 or something.
Does anyone else think of Bisping as big fucking crybaby? The guy whines about everything during fights. He talks more shit than anyone else, but when Demarcus talks shit back he gets butt hurt. He's a fucking stooge. Dan is going to take him apart. Good fight between Ross and Ritchie. I like Ritchie, he has a future, just needs more experience. Ross is easy to root for as well, just a tough SOB who likes to bang. Caught Ritchie in a decent sub too. That American WW that is slated to fight next is coming off like a bitch. This season is full of cry babies. I feel bad for Henderson that he has to be seen on tv with these losers. BTW are MMA athletes the least athletic athletes in all of sports. I rarely play tennis but im sure i don't look as pathetic as Dan or Mike did in the coaches challenge.

just caught episode 7.....shame that Richie and Ross had to fight one another....two of the more likeable contenders, and also too who impressed in the trial matchups. Ross impressed most then, and has looked the most impressive in the first round so far....he's strong, compact...does all the basics right, and surpised with a neat armbar submission, granted it isn't the most complicated move, but he had the cool to see that the opportunity was there....most of the guys on this series would have just carried on pounding away what's the deal with the different weight classes?....will we have two winners?......they do a shitty job of explaining how this tournament works.

Michael Bisping is one of the biggest fucking deuschbags I have ever seen in professional sports. Honestly. I really don't think the guy has a clue how stupid he really looks. He doesn't come off as the cool, arrogant type at all. He comes off as the crybaby :crying:at the playground that takes his ball home when he starts to lose. If I was a friend of his back in England, I would be embarassed for him. Bisping does act like a spoilt brat, but it makes the show a hell of a lot more interesting. I like Henderson as a guy, humble, easy-going...but if we had him facing off against himself it would be a pretty boring series. I know people like Bisping, he's a jack-the-lad. He's like the kid at school that MUST win the footy match in the playground, complaining about every decision, however minor. He needs to grow up. He wanted nothing to do with Dave once he'd gone out. And on that matter, Dave was out on his feet for about half of that last round....he would have got hurt badly had he gone out....he was exhausted. Bisping's own obsession to win got in the way of looking out for his fighter's health, which of course should be paramount. Having said all that....i don't mind him....he comes out with the odd funny line, and he's really taken to the series....his passion is probably the best and worst thing about him.
you make some good points. I know I will never like him. But he is passionate. I actually agreed with him when he was telling Dave that he would regret it for the rest of his life if he didn't go out there. I think what it showed was Bisping's life is being a fighter. Dave's isn't. Just curious, what is a Jack-the-lad?:dunno:
i wasn't sure on the origin of the term so i googled it.... http://www.phrases.org.uk/bulletin_board/17/messages/333.html I think the whole thing about Dave being the best brit was deliberate hype.....the show's producers know who gets to the final so like to throw out some curveballs......Ross hardly gets talked about yet i think he's looked by far the best so far, certainly amongst the brits.
