A pretty specific MM. I used the Pac/Diaz fight because it was Pacquiao's first (and only) at lightweight... same situation Floyd was in.

Basically, what I'm asking, how do you guys think Pacquiao does vs. Floyd's toughest opponent?

Wins a close decision. And I mean actually wins it rather than being given it.

Destroys Castillo by brutal drubbing over 8 rounds. Castillo has pretty shit defense.

Well, for the record, I thought Mayweather beat Castillo the night they fought and I still believe it to this day. It was VERY close.

Pacquaio by late KO, Castillo would get hit by those lefts and thats a recipe for disaster

Agreed. It wouldnt be the power that would be JL's biggest problem... it would be Manny's speed.

Manny by late TKO or UD....Manny's hand are too fast...and more importantly IMO his feet are tooo fast..he would be bouncing around the ring jumping in and out...landing sharp punches into Castillo giant chin...

Castillo was sharp as hell back then, way fucking better than Diaz. I think it's a hard fight. Castillo is bigger and stronger, he would rough Manny late in the fight. The speed would be a great asset for Pacquiao on the other hand, hard fight.

My pick hasn't changed... It doesn't matter if JLC is 5 times the fighter David Diaz was, David Diaz was there to survive, Castillo wouldn't be and it would be his undoing late in a brawl

Castillo would have success in spots, but he'd just eat too many punches he can't defend.
