Why do you suppose Mayweather will favored to beat Pacquiao?

So why didn't your boy sign the contract then all these years? Opting to duck real threats while handpicking easier fights. This same guy who talked sh*t about Roy Jones jr and Sugar Ray Leonard. F*cking farce!
There are legends in boxing. Fighters who fought in epic battles and had legendary wars and who fought the best in their weightclass. Who the f*ck has Floyd been fighting? What legendary battles has he had? And yet he goes around talking sh*t about other fighters? Goes around talking sh*t about the UFC being full of tatooed bums with no skills?
Come on Reed. I know you like that running, slipping, pretty bitch style of boxing but this guy is so full of sh*t and yet you turn a blind eye.:dunno:
The guy makes Lennox Lewis look like a freakin' gladiator!

Shane & Floyd SHARE the Blame for that Fight Not Happening...Floyd was MORE than Willing to Fight Shane after his 2 Bouts w/Fernando Vargas, but Shane DIDN'T Want it Then...

If your Feelings for Floyd R THIS Negative, WHY Waste Time THINKING or TALKING About him???...

Floyd already lost to Castillo once (anyone who saw the fight knows it wasn't even close), so his legacy isn't secure at all. He NEEDS Pacquiao more than Pacquiao needs him and that's a fact.

That's because you don't know how to judge fights. Your PBP's are ridiculous especially when Miguel Jotto is involved. :atu:

Castillo won the first fight by 4 points EASY. Mayweather is lucky because he had major promotional help to keep his zero that day. Castillo kicked the shit out of him.

I'm just wondering how an unbiased boxing writer like yourself never has anything negative to say or write about a boxer who has abused and made a mockery of the sport of boxing time and again. Floyd always gets a pass.
You can bullsh*t all you want about Floyd supposedly 'wanting' to fight guys like Shane and Margarito but the bottom line is, the fights didn't happen. The fights would've been made just as Floyd/Oscar and Floyd/Hatton were made. The fights didn't happen because Floyd didn't want them. Which again emphasizes that he's not a real warrior and is hiding behind his bullsh*t undefeated streak to sell his farce of a legacy which you buy into.........hook, line and sinker.
The fact that boxing has no governing body and allows sh*t like this to happen makes it ok and fans have come to accept it. And we're not even talking about the whole catch weight nonsense yet which makes boxing look like an even bigger joke than it is.
And yet you wonder why the sport is dying? It's because of guys like your hero Floyd who are making it a circus.

I just rewatched the fight without sound with a respected sports reporter friend of mine who works for the LA Times. We both agreed that Castillo won by at least 4 points if not more.

Castillo threw, and landed more punches than Mayweather at a HIGHER percentage. He was kicking the shit out of Floyd.

At the end of the fight (we turned the sound back on), the entire crowd booed and Jim Lampley said, "I don't know what fight the judges were watching."

The Ring Magazine called it one of the WORST decisions of that year, and they would be correct. Mayweather hands down lost that fight, which is why even today his legacy is not secured.

Posts like THIS is why REED Keeps a Record of his Round by Round Accounts...

    Rounds 1-5 - ALL FLOYD (10-9)
Round 6 - EVEN (Or SLIGHT Edge to Floyd) 10-10
    Round 7 - Castillo (10-9)
    Round 8 - Castillo's Round, but he had a Point DEDUCTED (9-9)
Round 9 - EVEN (Or SLIGHT Edge to Castillo) 10-10
    Round 10 - Floyd's Round, but he had a Point DEDUCTED (9-9)
    Rounds 11 & 12 - ALL CASTILLO (10-9)

115-113 Mayweather...Giving Castillo EVERY Benefit of the Doubt, it was a DRAW or a 1 Point WIN for him...It's COMICAL how U Say that U Watched the Fight w/NO Sound, Because U Have THE SAME EXACT 4 Point Margin as HBO Did...Other than YOU & HBO, NOBODY had Castillo Winning by 4 Points:lol:...

Like REED Said, Pac-Marquez II was MORE Controversial, but REED Doubts U'll Have Any Comments on How THAT Affects Manny's Legacy...

What's hilarious is that PBF definitely won the second fight but whereas the first fight was scored unanimously for PBF, the second one was a split decision.

It's also funny to hear people talk about the rematch like it was a blow-out or something. It wasn't. I think the split decision confirms this. I also think that the rematch is viewed as a wipe-out simply because PBF improved so much upon his first performance, not because he won the fight convincingly.

Watch that fight with the sound off and your reporter friend. I bet you guys would be surprised at how close that fight was compared to how it's characterized in general.

Probably the same reason everybody ridiculed W Bush when he was in office. Floyd takes up my time. Because I watch and discuss boxing and guys on here are putting this guy's name on the P4P #1 list and it bothers me. I dislike it. I also don't like the fact that he's ducked the toughest challengers while handpicking smaller foes to meet him at catchweights and meanwhile everybody on this board is calling him great and the best in boxing and all that other bullsh*t.
WTF has he done to be P4P #1? Who has he beaten? Why does he deserve to be P4P #1 ahead of the likes of Wladimir?

When did Mayweather even wobble or put Castillo down in the fight? Oh wait, he didn't.

4 round margin EASY. It's one of the worst decisions of the decade to be honest.

Mayweather's legacy is such crap right now. :atu:

It's your giving 1-5 to PBF that makes you flat out wrong. Also the fact that you scored two rounds even suggests an inability on your part to take into account all of the criteria that a judge must take into account when scoring a round. It's basically a sign that you didn't know who to give the round to so you made it even. But the chances that all of the criteria for scoring a round were equal between both fighters is probably about 1 in 10,000.

Don't want to nitpick here, but it wasn't a split decision in the rematch, it was another UD for Floyd, but the official scores were closer than the first fight. Oscar was the first guy to win an official scorecard agains Mayweather
