There is NO Comparison btwn REED's Feelings for Roy & Floyd...It's like Comparing Beyonce to Aunt Esther from "Sanford & Son"...

REED "Laid Off" ANY Pretense of "Nuthugging" Floyd DURING Mayweather-Hatton 24/7...REED OPENLY Spoke of How the Flaunting of Money Rubbed him THE WRONG Way & How Floyd was a PISS POOR Example for Young Black Men...Floyd Only Made Matters WORSE w/the "Retirement" of his, that REED Labeled "Bullshit" from DAY ONE...

"Lately" REED's Ass...REED's been LESS than a Floyd Nuthugger for Nearly 2 Fucking Years Now...& Even Back Then, there was NO Comparison btwn Roy & Floyd...Is or was there a "Planet Floyd"???...Has REED EVER Done a Pre-Fight SERMON in the Name of Floyd???...

Nuthuggery for 1 DOES NOT = Nuthugger for the Other....

No fuck you REED. You do this stupid shit all the time. You take a position in an argument that is pretty much contrary to any known and validated facts, and then make up a little lie about one of the details (a detail that is NOT easily validated), and then base your entire stupid fucking argument around it.

Then you get into these 20+ response wars about your little lie, probably jerking your cock the whole time you're typing your shitty response out.

    I'm just tired of it.

When it comes to Floyd I am. I'm a selfish boxing fan who wants the fights that we all want to see. I'm tired of Floyd and his avoidance of the top 147 pounders.

So you don't agree with the way he acts, fine. How about the way he's been conducting his career for the past 5 or so years? Wouldn't it be nice if Floyd added names like Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, Cintron, Williams to his resume? Aren't those fights you would like to see?

Both Cotto and Mosley were unquestionably guys Floyd would have fought if they hadn't backed down. I rarely agree with rjjp4pno1, but I agree when he asks.... how is Shane's tooth ache?

    And is Cotto "ready" yet?

    Floyd clearly ducked Margarito.

They are all willing now so we will see what happens. Glad we agree on Margarito, that was a shameful duck job.

EDIT: Jesus I cannot type for shit right now.

I think one point that some people are missing is that when it came to appearances, it was in ODH's best interest to fight Pacquiao at as light of a weight as he possibly could. He had to or else the fight would've been looked at as a farce (many people still considered it a farce leading up to the fight).

ODH's main focus during the entire promotion was convincing the public that even at 147 Manny was a formidable opponent. I don't get the impression he actually believed this, but I think he made a great effort to frame it that way.

As it turned out, we now know that Pacquiao indeed WAS a formidable opponent, even at 147. And I think it's unfair to Pacquiao to say that ODH was a dead-man in there.

I think more than anything he just couldn't get into a rythm because of Pacquiao's style. His having to lose weight may have contributed to his quitting, but I don't think it was the primary reason he took such a beating.

Unlike his fight with PBF, he simply couldn't control the pace of the fight, and like I said, could not get into any sort of rhythm at all. Some of that could have to do with his aging, but I think more than anything it was Pacquiao's style. ODH just couldn't figure it out.

The Hatton fight should have changed a lot of people views on just how shot Oscar was in that fight.

The incessant trolling is really killing the fun of this board for me. It ruins all discussion and, even though they're not allowed, every fricking thread is now littered with insults, even in GD. You got to clean this mess up Steve_Dave, it really weakens the board.

I would much rather he face Cotto or Mosley before Pac, in fact I don't care if that fight ever happens, and it shoudn't. Pac is not a welterweight and I am 100% sure he isn't beating Floyd. I would love to be wrong about that but I really don't think I am.

Hey..Mayweather sees Pac as a much easier opponent than Cotto/Mosley/Mar seem back 1-2 years ago...thats why he is back...

Let see if Mayweather is smart enough to accept 50-50 cause thats the only way the fight is happening...if not then Mayweather is fucked...Pac might go on to Cotto or Mosley...if Pac wins..Mayweather is still fuck cause 50-50 won't be an option anymore....if Pac gets beat by Cotto/Mosley..May is fucked...if he wants to make MONEY he would need to face his fear....maybe then he will have 60-40...but 60% bringing less money than Pac 50-50 split..

I hope Pac sticks to his guns on this one. He's just not a welterweight and I don't think he'd beat the top guys there. 140 is as high as he should go.

Pac isn't going to have much choice go to 147 and fight the big names or fight Valero for high risk little reward.

Pac can get good pay days fighting guys who are easier to negotiate with like Cotto and Mosley though. I think he beats Cotto and loses to Mosley by the way.

Much higher risk than Pacs last fight. BTW when was the last time Manny fought a southpaw i can't remember. His whole style right now is based upon moving to the side against an orthodox fighter.

Pacquiao is being a bitch. If he wants to beat a welter, fight at his weightclass. Fucking catchweights are pissing me off.

While I find some of it funny, I have to agree about insults in GD. I don't much care if it happens in the Off Topic forum but here it should be moderated at a stricter level.
