 I understood maybe 20% of what he said on that clip....

anyway...PACQUIAO > Mayweather.....Pac wants to fight Cotto/Mosley unlike Mayweather..i don't give a fuck if it's a catchweight of 143-44...Mayweather did not want to fight any of the Welters of his time at any weight....at all...

if Mosley/Cotto go all the way down to 143-4 and get beat then thats their fucking problem...

To be fair the only logical weight for the biggest fight of the last 15 years is 143lb. If it means there is more chance of that fight taking place Manny can start his own 'super-junior welterweight' division for all I care.

Good for him...considering Cotto has weight in at 146..losing one more pound would not kill him....

It's almost as if some people just don't want these good fights to be made. Do you people watch boxing?

All this bitching over a few pounds is just crazy to me. Who doesn't want to see a Pac vs Mosley fight? or a Pac vs Cotto fight? Who cares about the weight, these are good fights!! WTF

You still haven't explained why the fuck Cupey posted using your name Hex. If you two are the same dude, I know you don't actually watch boxing!

No,...like Z said, it is Shane calling Manny out,......not the other way around.

Hell,...if shane is calling him out, then Manny should say OK, meet me at 140. At least he seems to be willing to meet Shane halfway.

You act like Manny is the one with no choices. HE IS THE TOP DOG/DRAW in the sport right now!! Hell, he could be like alot of guys and just face mandatories for big money from now on...but he is interested in making BIG fights against the BEST fighters in two or three weight classes and you guys are blasting him??

You ungrateful bastards deserve Roy Jones vs. Richard Hall every time you watch a fucking fight!:flip:

Good for him. But Manny is still a bigger draw and a better fighter P4p than Miguel.:atu:

He weighed 150 against Oscar, no?

So it's okay to agree to 147 when it's advantageous and you perceive an advantage.

    That's what you're saying, no?

1st of All, REED DOESN'T Agree w/the Sentiment of this Thread...Calling Manny Pac a "Bitch" is Waaaaaaaaaaay OFFBASE...."However", if U REALLY Want to Fight Shane Mosley, Don't INVENT a Weight Class to Fight him @...Shane's Been NO LOWER than Welter for like 10 Years, he'll B 38 This Year AND he has Very Little Body Fat...

If U're INSISTING on Shane Mosley COMPROMISING Himself @ the Scales then U're NOT Fighting the REAL Shane Mosley....& if Being SMALL is Manny's Reasoning, then Move your SMALL Ass to a LOWER Weight...

Has Manny called Shane out? Has Shane called Manny out? Do we even really know? Seems to me that whoever called out first should make the adjustments.

If U're Referring to FLOYD vs Pac, then REED agrees...Floyd Actually CAN Make a Lower Weight w/Out Compromising Himself...But Asking OLD Ass Sugar Shane or the Naturally THICK Bodied Cotto to Make a Catchweight is Asking Toooooooooooo MUCH....

Again......who's doing the asking? Is it Manny? Is it Roach? Do we even really know?

And if I ask you to sell me your new car for half of what it's worth........do you have to even seriously consider it?

It's a damn shame when the most exciting fighter in boxing, who goes for the biggest challenges out there for him......moves up at LEAST two divisions over his best weight...and people are crying about top world class CHAMPIONS being asked to concede 3 or 4 pounds less than they weighed in at THE LAST FUCKING TIME THEY FOUGHT!!!!

Good God,...Manny Pac is scaring the hell outta you people to the point of ignorance!

Who's riding a higher wave and/or being talked about more than Manny Pacquaio right now in boxing?

Doesn't take a brain surgeon .:dunno:
    Who's a bigger draw?

Floyd? Shane? Wlad? Hopkins? Pavlik? Edison Miranda?? LMAO!

The biggest name in the sport right now is Manny Pac....no doubt.

What we DO Know is, Floyd vs. Pac is THE Fight to B Made...& REED has NO Problems w/a Catchweight in that Instance...We ALSO Know that Bob Arum was Dangling Cotto's Name Out there the INSTANT Pac Beat Hatton...

The Problem is, Not Looooooong After, FREDDIE ROACH Started Running Off @ the Mouth about Catchweights for Fights w/ANY Elite Welter (he PERSONALLY Mentioned Cotto, Shane AND Floyd on Friday Night Fights)...

Bottom Line, there's NO More Money Fights @ 140 for Pac & if the Elite Welters Call his Bluff, Manny WILL have to Back off of Roach's Catchweight Demands...

    Let's Talk #'s, Dude...Being a "Bigger Draw" is about SELLS...PPV Buys...On that Note....

    Floyd-Dela > Pac-Dela
    Floyd-Hatton > Pac-Hatton

    & U'd Best Believe that Floyd-Marquez will OUTSELL Pac-Marquez....

    Any Questions???....

It's NO BIGGIE if Pac is Asking Floyd to Concede 3 or 4 Lbs, but Asking that of Sugar Shane OR Cotto would COMPROMISE Their Ability to Perform to the Point that it'd B HARD to Give Pac CREDIT, if he Beat them....Shane Mosley is a 38 Year Old, DECADE Loooooooooooooooong Welter (Who's Also Fought @ Jr. Middle), w/ LITTLE if Any Bodyfat...

Towards the End of his Stint there, Cotto STRUGGLED MIGHTILY to Make 140...

if SRL and DLH get called bitches for this sort of shit then why shouldn't Pacquiao??

I don't really have a problem when the catchweight is more to "even things out". Roach wanting Mosley @ 142 seems to be more of a case where Freddie just wants Shane to be dead at the weight. Whitaker-Chavez being @ 145, that wasn't a weight where Whitaker would be dead at. That was alright.

Lately most of the fights which have been perceived to be some huge size difference (sometimes a mismatch) haven't been the case, or especially mattered, anyway.

Hopkins schooled Tarver going up from 160 to 175, Jones dominated Ruiz, Pacquiao dominated De La Hoya. Some other fights in which there was supposed to be some size difference didn't appear to matter in the long run. Wright moves up to face Trinidad and Winky looks like the physically larger guy in there, and wins 12-0. Pacquiao's 2nd fight above 135, and he annihilates Hatton. Mayweather gave up size to De La Hoya but outboxed him. Mosley-De La Hoya 1 was only Mosley's 3rd fight at 147, but Mosley outweighed him in the ring and beat him.

Can I ask a question. What big name fights does Pacquiao have at 140? Who is at the 140lb weight class with bigger names then Mosley, Cotto, and Mayweather? That being said Pacquiao needs the Cotto's, Mosleys, and the Mayweathers of the world. I'll Holla 5000

Can someone please explain this response by Muzse. Why is it ok to fight the bigger DLH at 147 but not fight Mosley or Cotto at 147? I'll Holla 5000
