Just an FYI for those wondering the status of the sale. I will be finished up with finals this friday, so I will have more time next week to finish up any necessary paperwork and get Andrew whatever he needs to finalize the deal.

Personally I don't give a fuck what you think because you haven't been in my shoes to judge me or talk shit about something you really don't know shit about. But since you are a respected member of this community I'll take this opportunity to reply to your comments.

First of all when did I ever say I sent it. I asked for Andrew's andress and told him that I would try to send it on Monday (which was about 3-weeks ago). Unfortunately a lot of things happened in my personal life around that time, to much that I care to talk about, that I didn't get around to working on the paperwork.

I also stated to Godfather that I had gone to staples to get the documents and there is nothing already made for sales of websites. So basically I have to contruct a legal document that covers the sale of the site. Again, I haven't had much time to hammer this out, although I'm sure it's not that time consuming.

Also note that I had no idea about this "alternative" site. Over the past two weeks I was randomly receiving these e-mail stating that the server was overloaded for a period of time. But when I would go to the site it was working, so I was unsure what the problem was. It was only until recently where I tried to reach the site that I realized what was happening. So I contacted the host and explained to them about the e-mails I was getting and what the hell was I paying for. They in turn understood the problem and corrected us by upgrading us to another server with better performance. The problem, according to the host, is our vbulletin script and that it causes mysql problems on there server. So it looks like the move resolved the issues and things are back to normal.

Once everything was cleared up I tested the site and happen to notice about this other site. It was really a proper response to the problem. I have no issues with that. I just wasn't aware of it until that time period and after I contacted the host.

Maybe Mr. Reed also forgets that I let my own editor and co-founder of this site, Joe Rein, walk because Reed was offended by his editing. I've done my part to back you up at times too.

I'm not going around claiming shit is good today, and I'm not making excuses why shit didn't get posted. I'm simply stating that what you stated was incorrect. Instead you come out here saying that you did this and you did that. One has nothing to do with the other.

I sent several pieces I worked hard on between working two jobs in the Mean Streets of Houston that Carlos never published is why I quit writing for fightbeat, and I felt betrayed..and pissed.

Never had a problem with Joe, in fact I think he is a brilliant editor, and few folks here know that he has the credentials in the ring to back his editing and writing up, which he does eloquently.

 

As an update on my end, still no papers.

 

What's the big deal with these 'papers', and what are they anyway? A contract of some kind? I could draw up a legally binding contract in less than an hour FFS...
