This is one of the fews times that I have seen Cotto with the height advantage. Cotto is @146 Clottey is @147 even. One thing I want to point out is the Weigh In today was @1pm. THis will allow both fighters good times to rehydrate I guarantee Cotto is coming in @ 155+ fightnight.

Clottey said he wants to weigh around 170. This early weigh in gives him time to hydrate alot.

Thats criminal. Rules should definitely be made on how much a fighter can weigh by fight night.

Weigh fighters on fight day would do the trick.

I'm not opposed to the 24 weigh-in.... the problem is, what we have now isnt a 24 hr weigh-in! Its more like a 32 hour weigh-in.

I say have weigh-ins at around 9 o'clock at night... as opposed to the 1 or 2 in the afternoon that we have now.

clottey shouldnt be at welter. cotto should be able to take it to him in the late rounds

Knup,.. Clottey is going to fly the flag on that refreshingly legal defence, he sobbed prefusively because Margarito rested his elbows on his solar plexus,.. well,..Clottey is in a different league,.. it wouldnt suprise me if Cotto jumped out of the ring like Hopkins, based on the sight alone.

I hope Cotto punches Clottey really hard in the face numerous times.

It allows both fighters to be at their optimum. I'm sure they both wanted it so I don't see the problem, although I agree Clottey is taking advantage to an extreme, nobody has had a problem with this kind of stuff for years, Cotto does the same thing just on a smaller scale, so let's not bitch too much about it.

Come on, it is not like Cotto had never had a considerable size advantage over his opponents. Earlier in his career he was fed with much smaller man more than perhaps any promising young fighter I have seen.

As long as they both make their weight, it is ok. That is the rule

I hope Clottey blocks those shots and in turn hits Cotto very very hard. That should bring him the W

And whats unusual about that? 13-15 pounds is not an extraordinarily large amount to rehydrate.

LOK I'll eat your asshole alive

I wanna say Cotto will wear down and stop Clottey and look impressive in doing so... but Clottey has a shot for sure
