    agREED. Vasquez was a very good fighter who has been mostly forgotten these days. And...unlike Tito...he was actually able to land punches against Winky Wright.

    And I know...I know... Vasquez lost to Whitaker and Tito beat Whitaker...but those fights took place against two very different Whitakers.

    Let's not gloss over the fact that the Wright that Tito fought was a very different fighter than the cutie who faced Vazquez. It's hardly a meaningful comparison when you consider the degree to which Wright changed his style, first apparent to us in his battle with Vargas.
