weight drained. He looked really skinny. I think Bisping is a good fighter. He should have done better. Especially against someone throwing nothing but a right hand. I also think Dan got in his head.
This shit is impressive. The grappling is top notch by GSP. Thiago's takedown defense is incredible and GSP is doing it with ease.
he just tires fighters out with his smothering. next round you just watch waiting for him to take alves down then more of the same.
Wow i really thought Alvez would do better. GSP has really jumped up another notch in my book. His wrestling is incredible. if GSP had power, he would be ridiculous.
I like GSP, and while this is no war, or even an exciting, vicious beatdown, it's still impressive, how he is able to control a beast like Alves. But Pianoman has a point. It's only one step up from lay and pray. It's lay, pray, land a punch or two. George is an incredible fighter, possibly THE best in MMA, but he has become more boring over the last couple of years.
I thought Alves would do much better. I thought he was the only one with a realistic chance of beating GSP, and at the very least would give him a tough, close fight. By the way GSP's power isn't bad.
i appreciate the guys skills they are unquestionable, its just frustrating. looks at guys like fedor who are well rounded, but also brutally exciting.
No doubt, I find it very frustrating. I forgot about Fedor. Absolutely, Fedor is incredibly well rounded, but he usually ends up handing out a vicious beating. Even um, Machida's recent win over Evans was more exciting than GSP's recent fights. At least there was no lay and pray, and a bit more sparring/striking. It's frutrating because GSP is capable of much more.
GSP telling his corner that he pulled his groin. Corner guy "I don't care, hit him with your groin!"
