All the Naysayers who Think Lesnar DIMINISHES UFC R Crazy...This Guy is a LEGITIMATE ATHLETE & a Fucking BEAST to Boot...w/Anything Short of a HANDGUN, U COULDN'T Pay REED Enough Money to Fight that Cat... He's an Absolute BRUTE & He Obviously LEARNS from his Mistakes...Frank Mir Got his Ass WHIPPED...REED has NEVER Seen a Guy CONSISTENTLY Cut Up his Opposition as QUICKLY as Lesnar Does...After about a MINUTE, Mir was BLEEDING... The SCARY Shit is, Lesnar's Only 31 & he WON'T B as Good as he CAN B for Another Few Years...But Already, he's a FORMIDABLE Opponent for ANYBODY...Yes, even Fedor... REED:mj: ps. REED Thought it was HILARIOUS when Lesnar Flipped the Bird to the Crowd, as they Boo'ed him...
As long as people will shut the fuck up about how well rounded you have to be to compete in this "sport", it's cool by me. Honestly, when Brock Lesnar and Sable were in the ring celebrating I was embarrassed to be watching.
Oh and one other thing.... and no, this isn't a joke. WWE > UFC Heavyweight division. I would pick most of the top WWE guys to come over and do well.
Vince McMahon must be laughing his ass off that one of his ex-stars is beating up on these UFC clowns and holding the title. Makes the WWE look so much more legit now.:: When's Bobby Lashley coming?
They could if they wanted to. Many WWE guys come from amateur wrestling backgrounds, similar to Lesnar and Lashley. Iron Shiek and Bob Backlund to name a few.
Vince isn't laughing about anything right now. His business is taking a major hit with each UFC show. Why watch WWE when you can watch UFC??
Lesnar is a beast for sure. Any time that you mix a good wrestling pedigree with freakish strength and speed for a 280 pound man, it will present a problem for anyone. I am seeing quotes already that Dana is saying that he "will" get Fedor to the UFC and this fight "has to happen". Interesting huh? I thought he just said Fedor sucks and is barely a top 5 HW? I thought he is eating in some Russian buffet somewhere?
His business is taking a hit because his product is stale and badly written. That's why. It's not because GSP is sitting in Alves' guard for 5 rounds. You have to realize what it is that pro wrestling fans are looking for. And the WWE isn't giving it to them like they were doing back in '97-02 which were some of the most incredible and profitable years for the WWE. Vince is his own enemy in all of this.
Dana should make an attempt at setting up a Lesnar vs Lashley fight. Contest between 2 former WWE World Champions! :bears:
WCW was actually great for wrestling and when he bought it, there is no competition. TNA doesn't count. Wrestling is in it's last days.
Brock Lesnar is UNDENIABLY an EFFECTIVE FIGHTER, Dog...As Looooooong as U're EFFECTIVE, Who Gives a Shit about Being "Well Rounded"...Lesnar is a HUGE, ABNORMALLY STRONG, Athletic FREAK!!!...265lbs (Probably 280 or MORE by Fightnight), Bench Presses a BULLDOZER, yet QUICK & AGILE????... No, Lesnar Isn't & Likely WON'T EVER B Regarded as "Well Rounded", but his Wrestling is IMMACULATE & While NOT Textbook, his Standup ISN'T Exactly a WEAKNESS Either... Brock Lesnar is a LEGITIMATE Athlete who was In WWE for a Minute...There's NATHAN Embarrassing about That... REED:mj:
Lashley is just trying to follow Lesnars model. Lashley isn't half of the wrestler that Brock is and looked pathetic from what I have seen of him so far. Lashley will get destroyed. Lashley=Michael Grant
REED, a minute or not, he brings the WWE style with him. His promos, interviews and general demeanor SCREAM pro wrestling.
He's definitely a legit athlete and he's earning his money by training hard and doing his thing. At the same time, the best competition for Lesnar is outside of the UFC. Would be nice to see Dana White try to spice up a very lackluster heavyweight division and bring in some competition.
This is true, but lets not confuse this with his great wrestling skills and freakish athletic ability.
Based on their size, godly strength, athletic ability, and amateur backgrounds. Do you really honestly think Brock Lesnar is the only one from Pro Wrestling who had some strength and athleticism, REED? Don't be ignorant. Remember your boyfriend Bill Goldberg for example? In his prime, the guy was a beast and arguably even stronger than Lesnar with also great athletic ability. Don't sell pro wrestlers short. Remember when Kurt Angle made Brock Lesnar look like a dumb f*ck when they had a shoot wrestling match in the locker room?
But it's Not JUST Lesnar's Wrestling Background that Makes him Effective, Hanz...Yes, Wrestling is PART of the Package, but U're FAILING to Note the BRUTE STRENGTH, the ATHLETICISM, the SPEED, the AGILITY & the SIZE... There's NOBODY ELSE Quite Like Brock Lesnar...In UFC OR WWE... REED:nono:
If Lesnar had gone straight from amateur wrestling to the UFC, there'd be no buzz about him. The WWE basically made him larger than life and now he's reaping the rewards. He never even paid his dues in the WWE like most before him. McMahon basically threw the title on him from day 1 and catapulted him to stardom alongside Austin and the Rock. McMahon is the reason Lesnar is the star he is.
AND???:dunno:... Clearly, U Have an Issue w/Professional Wrestling & it's CLOUDING your Ability to OBJECTIVELY Judge Brock Lesnar... REED:mj:
Obviously yes but I also realize the size difference between him and Lesnar. 210 vs 310 at their peaks. And Lesnar was schooled. My point is, don't sell pro wrestlers short. People laughed about pro wrestlers competing in the UFC. Basically Lesnar and Lashley are opening a lot of doors now. No MMA fan can ever disrespect the pro wrestling industry ever again! WWE is ruling the roost now! :bears:
I got no problem with Lesnar cutting a promo, it's just that horrid high pitched voice of his. He's not cut out for the mic. He's a guy who needs Bobby Heenan doing his talking for him while he just stands in the back looking big and mean.
Word. All of the interview skills, charisma, fireworks, and theme music don't make you win fights. Lesnar clearly made money due to his WWE background though. That's undeniable. I think Bobby Lashley would have similar success in the UFC because they are the same physically and have the same background in wrestling.
