I like the fact that guys stand to make a shit load more money for winning. I always thought the winner of fights should get more money, it makes guys fight that much harder. Even though UFC fighters are still not making THAT much, it's definitely getting better. With that said, I keep reading that Lesnar actually made 3 million for this fight. I have no idea if there is even an ounce of truth to it, but I've read it in multiple places.
PPV cut factored in. Ortiz and Liddell both got 3 million+ for UFC 66 when all the buys and gate were tallied.
That makes sense. I'm sure the numbers for this event will be huge since I can't go anywhere without people talking about it.
I thought that was kind of off. He probably gets a share of PPV too. That cannot be all he gets, no way.
