    In the boxing business, what’s here today may be gone tomorrow, and long term planning usually never pans out the way it’s supposed to. Such has been the case in the talent-rich super bantamweight division, and no one’s happier about recent developments than IBF / WBA champion

    Anyone think Gamboa has any chance of surviving a fight with Juanma? I can't even believe that is being mentioned. Even if it is a few fights down the line. As skilled as Gamboa is, his chin is a major question mark.

    I don't think Juanma's chin has been tested, though. Certainly not in the way that Gamboa will test it. Or in the way that Caballero would test it, for that matter.

    I would rather Gamboa come into a fight with either of them as a champion and not as a challenger, though. Lots of good potential matchups when you look at Is Vazquez, John, Rigondeaux,

    That could be an interesting fight.

    I'm not familiar with who's mentioning it...what weight are they talking about having it at? 126?
