Ive been there for a long time, probably close to 9 years now. Most of those posters you mentioned have been there for many years too. Rebel (Owner), used to be a cunt, but has really turned things around there lately and Ive started to post there quite a bit more like a few others. Its a good board with good core members. In the boxing section Matos and TIP are some ofthe most intelligent boxing guys on the web, period.

 

Yeah that seems to be when it had its largest influx. I went after Remus recommended it and I had been banned for being a racist at SO.

yeah I have to be honest our board isn't for everyone but we have made a few changes to where it's a little more free flow. Not all the way but a little looser. I myself sometimes forget the whole reason I am on there is because I want to chop it up boxing wise and get too involved in admining

I won't ever place blame on people I dont know but I will say its a damn shame this board has gotten to this point as this is where I started to really learn the sport after being a casual fan for so long. I appreciated the intense knowledge some brought here mixed in with the humor. In it's heyday I doubt there was a better board. Bigger? yeah but the level of discussion among the 100 or so hardcore FW and FB bangers couldn't be matched.

whatever you guys do I wish all of you well and thank a lot of you for educating me in the sport I love dearly. Some of you would be proud of me as not only do I admin but I also work covering the sport on a part time basis AND was hired on as the West Coast Fighter Relations Manager for Everlast Worldwide in Sept of last year. I have been handling the likes of Urbano Antillon Chris Arreola and Charles Huerta and its truely been a dream job. When I got here at best I was a casual fan so I do owe a lot of you a debt of gratitude for getting me up to speed.
