Mexico City, Mex. (July 23) -Reports out of Mexico City, where five-time World Champion Juan Manuel Marquez is back in training for his scheduled September 19 bout (at MGM Grand in Las Vegas and televised live on HBO Pay-Per-View®) against Floyd Mayweather (Mayweather vs. Marquez "Number One/Numero Uno"), confirm that Marquez is bigger, stronger and punching "to the body" harder than ever as he pushes his training regime to new heights in preparation for his ultimate challenge against Mayweather.

I'm rooting for Marquez but Floyd will ultimately solve him and win a comfortable decision. I really hope I'm wrong.

JMM would have been fighting at a higher weight a long time ago, if he could. The size will be too much for him. He is not Duran.

My exact thoughts. As a man of faith, I want a miracle to happen in order for Floyd getting a beating. But unless Chinus Maximus intervenes, it is not going to happen.:bangh:

Marquez's intelligence is the most underrated in boxing. Maybe its HIM who figures FLoyd out. MAYBE

Floyd's schitk has pissed off even his fans. I used to like him but can no longer stand the prick. Usually if a guy is an asshole I only care about what he does in the ring. However, in Floyd's case his assholism has too often affected his career.

He puts money first, he lies and deludes himself and the fans and worst of all he overrates the ownership of his 0. If JMM can take that 0 from him then maybe Floyd will finally face some bigger names in the sport.

The same thing was thought and said when Whitaker faced Azumah Nelson.

    Same thing will happen.

This is a tune up for Mayweather. Marquez is a great fighter. He also got schooled by Pacman in the first fight and Chris John. He was also getting shitkicked by Juan Diaz until he stopped him.

Unless you guys know something I DON'T(WHICH I DOUBT) LIKE PBF is shot or fading he will win a dull and easy decision. This is a tune up. Floyd deserves no credit for this fight especially at welter.

Schooled by Pacman? hahaha ok i really don't think u saw the fight, maybe u can see pacman winning sure, not a big deal, but Marquez was the one doing the schooling.
And as far as the John fight goes...it was a robbery...Marquez won 7 rounds definately no other way around it... he should not have lost.
Marquez is also a very very smart man, he will eventually figure Mayweather out, hopefully he has the pop to get him outta there, or hopefully he is not too far behind.

Anyone that thinks Marquez won the first fight knows nothing about boxing. Pacman won by 5 points at least. He destroyed Marquez. Nevermind the tiny troll spouting the Marquez line that he has never lost just so his honeysuckle will get some undeserved credit.

John also legitimately won the fight so put down the beer like most Marquez fans I doubt you saw the smiting John put on Marquez. I guess kneel missed Freddie Norwood beating him too. Pacman/Marquez 2 could have gone either way, but the Marquez Maricones paint it as if it were a robbery. There was a robbery and it was the first fight when Pacman utterly raped and dominated Marquez who deserves credit for staying up and winning at most 5 rounds. I know most of you are morons but do the math. He lost more rounds and he got dropped 3 fucking times. If anything Pacman should be revered for not only destroying a guy, then Pacman gets robbed and he nobly fights Marquez again in a rematch he did not earn. If you think Marquez didn't lose the second fight that's your and anyone else's meaningless opinion. Pac won both fights so that's 2 loses right there add John and Norwood and you Marquez Maricones have 4 losses that you have never seen.

Honestly, one has to be delusional to think Marquez beat Pac twice. Marquez not only lost the fight according to the judges(who made a scoring error) he got a gift draw he never earned. Pac/Marquez 1 is one of the top 5 worst decisions in the last 15 years.

Whether or not someone had Pacman winning...sure thats fine, but it was no raping, you are the only one that would think that well that and hardcore Pacman fans...

    your still funny man

you might wanna join Roach in Pacquiao's corner since your more confident about those outcomes than they are.

Roach for all the shit he's been talking lately even he agrees that JMM won most of the rounds in the two fights.

Ain't this an absurd observation? I think an intelligent person would clearly see that Marquez gave Diaz a thorough beating. He's never been a defensive wizard, so it was a given that he was gonna take some punishment in that fight. What a way to discredit his win.

Despite size Marquez is the best fighter Floyd has ever fought. So it might be Marquez doing the solving.
