Pacquiao might think so....but he isn't tooo sure about it....he still wants Cotto to weaken himself more....
147...145....143...Cotto is still going to KO Pacquiao...

The fight will happen at 145. Forget all this 143 stuff it will happen at 145. Big deal, 2 pounds, it won't matter Cotto is way too open, and you saw how Clotteys fast hands gave him so much trouble, Pac is going to have a field day.

Pacmans punches will be a swarm of wasps over the picnic which is cottos face

Yeah Pacquiao is going to land.....A LOT of punches....a storm of punches...

But Cotto is going to do something...nobody at 140-147 has been able to do vs. Pac.....LAND CLEAN HARD PUNCHES of his own....let see how Pacquiao likes it when his opponent hits back...it has been a while...

I have a quick question regarding the clottey/cotto fight. Now prior to that fight how many times had clottey been knocked down? Before I get to that how much clottey weigh entering the ring. I believe they said that clottey was close to 160. Now back to my point. Didn't cotto knock the granite chinned clottey down with a power jab. Now if cotto is able to that punch against pacman he's gonna be in trouble. That shotgun jab aint gonna be like hattons. Wait did or does he even know how throw a jab. And that jab is gonna be coming from a strong welterweight not a weight drained past his prime skeleton like dlh. Pacman is in deep trouble unless they put a weight stipulation on cotto stating that after weigh in he can't gain more then X amount. I'll Holla 5000

Regarding Clottey, yea it was a flash knockdown, so? He got up and gave Cotto hell for the rest of the fight. Cotto will last about 6 rounds because he's a little bit tougher than Hatton. Manny is way too sharp for him.

    Yup.

I'm a confessed Hatton nuthugger and I'll happily agree that Cotto is way more skilled than Hatton is. He's at least one level above Ricky IMHO.

Totally Agree! Cotto's jab will be a major weapon! I have mentioned this before many times. Miguel's jab can and will offset Pac's rhythm. I still can't believe how so many think Cotto as a fucking tune-up for Pac. I havent seen this type of hype since the RJ era. It never gets old. People place these fighters on the INVINCIBLE level only to be in total shock when they get KTFO or FUCKED up...............People never learn.

I have a question for you. IF it werent for that horrible cut, do you think Cotto would have won the fight much easier or do you still have Clottey giving him hell?:crafty:

Wow some of you are really overrating Cotto, I like the guy but he isn't on Pacs level. He's a hard bastard I'll give him that but he is in for a beating and a half. It doesn't matter if he is a level above Hatton, he's still many many levels below Pac. Oh and yes obviously the cut in the Clottey fight hindered him no doubt but he would still have been troubled by Clotteys handspeed, absolutely.

People who dismiss Hatton's skills as non-existent don't know what they are talking about.

Yup, he is by no means a bum. He just came up short against the very best, that's what makes them the very best, they make very good fighters look like bums.

Some guys cant win. We criticize fighters for not stepping up and now in Hattons case he's a bum for failing to beat the best guys on the planet.

Hatton could have stayed at 140 and retired with his 0 if he wanted to.

Ricky would still beat the majority of the guys out there.

Exactly, well said, people like giving Hatton shit because he actually tried to prove himself rather than padding his record. People need to make their fucking minds up.

I'd like to see Hatton come back, win a few fights and then get DOMINATED again and STRETCHED

No doubt, I've said for a long time now that Prescott should never ever have beaten Khan as Amir is a much better fighter, but it has actually been a blessing in disguise as it forced him to leave his comfort zone and yes-men behind.

I would back him 110% to beat Prescott in a rematch. That fight will be looked back on as a Lewis-McCall I type fight.

Now that I have seen more of Prescott, I would have to agree. Amir is 100 times the fighter prescott is. I still don't like Khan though.

Of course, Khan's loss to Prescott was a freak incident. He's a much much better fighter. Prescott sucks.
