OK. So there is no more guessing games and to get this complete. Here is the deal. I'm asking for $3000 for the site, 1/2 up front and 1/2 payable in 6 months or less. That's it. No games. Maybe you are right Hanz, but business is business. This is a quick sale type of thing. I want to get this over with and let it be run by people who are ready willing and able to do so. I hope people can put our personal differences asside and just keep this a business transaction.

I know people who'll give you 3K right now to buy this site as we speak. The only thing is, what they'll do with the site won't be for the good of the boxing fan but for their own selfish needs. They'll look at the traffic FightBeat gets and see the $$$ signs! Let's hope whoever buys this site is a major boxing fan who will run it with dignity and for the good of the boxing community.

If this was legit, and there were others interested in putting some of that together, I'd be willing to put some of that number.

But for some reason I'm skeptical.

 

Understood Mitchell. But this is no joke. Here is how it will happen.

You tell me that you agree to those terms, I'll edit the current contract with the details we agree upon and send you a copy by e-mail. If you say the contract is OK I will send you an official copy with my signature on it. You send it back with the first payment and your signature. Once you send me the OK we will start the transfer of website information and ownership and that's it.

Seriously, these are the best days for me to get this done because I'm off from work for the next couple of weeks. Once I start working again my time is limited.

I do apologize for all of the headaches in the past, but there was a lot going on in my life. Things are good and I really would prefer to sell to you guys then to give in to outside sources who nobody knows what will happen.

I'd be willing to put up money, but I'd like to know what kind of structure is going to be left after any sale/purchase, which is why I'd like there to be more than just me involved in it.

It is preferable for it to be bought by people who've actually been a part of the site/forum.

I also would help you out during the transition phase and I know there were others who volunteered their time and energy for a new fightbeat without financial interest.

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Jaws, you seem like you are ready to help out, you are a writer, and have plenty of ideas to help the site better. Why don't you team up with him to make this happen.

Again, I have a few weeks left of vacation and I'd like to get this done before I go back to work. I think I've made it an easy sale with the low requirements and easy payment. It's really only a matter of getting a few people together that can do it.

I do hope the site doesn't go into the wrong hands and we all wind up scattered somewhere. Andrew has maintained the forums so I think it can be done. Just tell me what you need from my end to make you get onboard.
