I just received a copy of the Tyson movie to review. It goes on sale Aug. 12. I'm going to check it out tonight and write a little something by Thursday. Has anybody seen this yet? C
I did. It rocks!!!!! Something interesting to know is that Toback invited several women to sit in on a preview screening and told them "If you don't like it after 5 minutes, you can leave and I'll give you $100." Nobody left and some of the women were weeping at the end of it.
I liked the part where Tyson said he was rampaging the town with his gang and since he was the smallest, he had to sweet talk folks into opening the door so his gang could barge in and rob them. Sometimes though, the kids would either get shot or knifed and wouldn't make it out alive. Tyson's childhood was a game of death...daily!
After watching it, it kinda put me in a mood for fighting. I went out looking for a fight, acting all big and bad like Tyson. Then reality set in and I got my ass kicked.
