He has decent boxing skills for MMA but it will be interesting to see how he does in pro boxing. This could have something to do with missing his recent drugs test.
I saw him in his box before, years ago, and there didn't seem to be that much to go on for him. I don't imagine that's changed all that much since then.
Don Chargin is the promoter. I think he wants to fight around 168-175, because he called out Allan Green.
Diaz is a decent at best fighter who many MMA fans think is much better then he really is. He needs to worry about passing a drug test before he worries about boxing. But hey, maybe we'll see that Diaz\Noons rematch, but in the ring instead of the cage. TFK
Yep...and there was an interview with Chargin up at Fightnews where he said he had a bunch of dates at ARCO and Feather Falls starting in September, so I guess Diaz will have the opportunity to be busy.
He could NEVER make 147. He can't even make 155 to fight at LW in MMA. He's a 160 pounder at the very least.
Diaz as a boxer would be like Troy Dorsey. Throws a ton of punches, doesn't really have any power, has a decent chin, and is usually bloody before the opening announcements are finished. TFK
