August 15th Pay Per Views: Donaire-Concepcion, Jones-Lacy

What happened to Jeff Lacy? He's not boxing at all. Just lumbering in throwing wild, inaccurate shots. Lacy is such an odd case, I am not sure how much he has lost physically, but his skill level has gone way down since when he started as a pro.

Roy looks good, but I think Lacy is making him look good. Roy can land anything he wants, whenever he wants. But he shouldn't clown Lacy too long, or he may end up running out of gas and giving Lacy a chance.

 

Lacy fought Sheika to a SD before he fought Calzaghe. He´s shit. He got the IBF belt as gift and suddenly he was more than a clubfighter.

FYI: RJJ is a bitch and I'm sure any wins he records from this time on are based on the careful match-making and money-grubbing style that has dictated his career and exposed his fragile and fucked up ego. Interesting how RJJ seemingly has no interest in a Johnson rematch all the while fleecing his old-time fans for PPV money because he's not "CABLE-WORTHY." Gotta disagree with you once again. Not with what you said about Roy so much but the fact that you're actually going to compare him against a coward like Calzaghe is just otherwordly. This fucking coward hid in his own division and his own country for his whole career and wouldn't touch Jones or Hopkins until they were fucking 40. If you think that fuck deserves credit for that think again.

I do give him credit for the Lacy, and Kessler wins, but the Lacy one is looking more overrated everyday and even his promoter says he was trying to bitch out of those fights too. Fuck Calzaghe, he was as bitched up as they come.
